Hi there! I'm Herbert, and I'm thrilled to be your tutor! Since 2016, I’ve been teaching General Science, Advanced Physics, and Mathematics to junior and senior high school students. Alongside my academic teaching, I also serve as the moderator of a digital art club, blending my skills in both numbers and the arts. I customize my teaching approach for each learner to make concepts easier to understand and truly meaningful. I am a third year medical student at Imperial College London, who also attended Queen Elizabeth's Boys' School. Whilst being a student, who's done his 11+, GCSEs and A-levels, I had to came up with new techniques to try and break down complex topics into smaller and simpler topics. I would love to pass on this knowledge, that I have gained through my experiences, onto younger students who are currently going through the processes that I did. My teaching style consists of seeing how each individual student learns best and then gearing my lessons towards their particular strengths to make learning as easy and fun as possible.

I am an engineering university student with a diverse educational background from different countries. Owing to my diverse experience, I am able to teach using varied curricula, adopt different systems, and incorporate appropriate approaches to meet the needs of the students. I am still a student, so I have first-hand experience with what students require from a student's perspective. Although I have around 3 years of experience working as a part-time tutor, both online and physical,  I have been tutoring as a volunteer for about 8 years now.  I have worked with students from different parts of the world of all levels and ages. Aside from teaching as a career, I am passionate about it because I aspire that "learning should be fun." My classes are usually fun and interactive and not all about studies all the time, as we learn about many things besides the book knowledge in class. Other than that, because I am in university, I usually can relate to my students and understand them as I also fall under their generational demographic compared to much older teachers.
