My names Sonique and I am currently in my second year of studying Dentistry at the University of Manchester. I attended a grammar school where I studied A-level Biology, Chemsitry and Mathematics and achieved A*AA in these subjects. I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit. I loved maths back in school and I do find myself still doing random mathematical questions as I love the subject. I was my favourite back in school. Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged .
