Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

My daughter's tutor Jaspreet has been absolutely amazing. She is extremely communicative and knowledgeable. She is very patient with my daughter and they have struck a really good rapport and student teacher relationship. My daughter has even started to attain those high grades she previously struggled to get!! I was initially a bit doubtful after reading some bad reviews online but our experience has been positive throughout and I would recommend go student 💯% if you want safe personal tutoring for your child.

I've been working with John Statham since April and I can tell he is one of the best tutors I have worked with. He is very patient and passionate about his job. He has lots of knowledge in different fields. He is working with me on English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing and understanding of the content and the improvements I've made since working with him are enormous. He is also very flexible with the session schedule, which significantly benefits me as I have a hectic program. I highly recommend John to anyone who wants to improve their English skills. Overall I am delighted that I had the chance to get John as my tutor.
