Being a medical student has its own difficulties that will challenge your methods of revision and its rigorous workload has made me more efficient in establishing better routines and study methods. My educational career thus far has equipped me with the skills to breakdown difficult concepts and tackle confusing topics together with my students. The calm and light hearted demeanour with which I approach my lessons have kept my students confident to always approach me no matter how silly they think a question or doubt may be. This then works synergistically to help me understand their concerns and what I need to focus on more on to help attain my students’ targets. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind so I keep myself busy with activities I enjoy like rugby, football, table tennis, photography, hiking and channelling my inner Gordan Ramsay. ✅ A 4th Year Medical Student with 5+ years of tutoring experience offering engaging & bespoke lessons! I completed my GCSEs with 12 A*-B grades and studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology for A Levels at Newham Collegiate Sixth Form where they consistently send students to Ivy League and Russell Group universities like Cambridge, Oxford, King’s College, LSE etc. and prides itself in being one of the best sixth forms in London for student outcomes. I moved to the U.K. from India with my family in 2012 and I was placed in all the bottom set classes at school where I was faced with an unfamiliar syllabus and a foreign culture. I pride myself in working hard to reach the top sets and being able to complete my GCSEs with top grades. This has set the tone in my ethos and approach to learning to be proactive while being efficient.

Mathematics and Chemistry tutor up to GSCE level Hello, you can call me Teejaay! I have been tutoring for 10 years now and it's truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've helped so many students achieve their academic goals year after year. I specialize in the areas of Math and Science for elementary, high school and college students. I am well-versed in tutoring elementary school children and upwards, in any topic that is required; particularly common core Math and Science I have kept myself to a high standard as an educator and have always will expect the same from my students. I love working with students and encouraging the best work they can offer! As a teacher, I have been able to reach a myriad of ages within a diverse socio-economic group of students. Daily, I have been allowed to learn the best strategies and implement them in my teaching experience I had my first degree in Chemical Engineering in 2012 I did a post graduate diploma in Education I also have a Masters degree in Science Education I am a registered teacher I chose teaching as a profession because I love the impact one can have on individual children and touch lives. Of course it’s a great responsibility, but at the same time I cannot imagine devoting my life to something else, especially since I love being around learners–which is likely the second reason why I want to be a teacher. In my view, teaching is more a mission than a job really, especially in the uncertain times we live nowadays. I have been teaching all my life! I want to become a teacher because I believe to have the right skills, abilities, and attitude to become a good teacher. And I enjoy teaching, talking to learners, listening to them, trying to understand their emotional world, and be a good role model for them. At the end of the day, we should do a job in which we see some meaningful purpose. I know that I could earn twice as much working in some big corporation analyzing some data or sitting at a computer programming another mobile application, the billionth on the app store…. But I just don’t see a point in such type of work. Teaching is a completely different story- -you are impacting real lives!

Hi I'm Katie. In my free time I like to be with my friends, as well as social events within university, such as out chem eng society! Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering. I have a strong passion for both chemistry and maths and i believe these supply the fundamentals for understanding how the world works and can be applied to any real life concept or problem. At school I achieved grade 9 and 8 in Maths and chemistry in GCSE, to then be followed by AA at A level. I also studied physics at a level where i achieved a grade B. I previously tutored younger students during my time at secondary school, this gave me an insight into the concepts that are often misunderstood and ways I can use my knowledge to overcome this, and i now have over two years of online tutoring experience. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm to students to help them progress within their subjects and ultimately make learning be engaging and fun.

Lower level: Maths GCSE & IGCSE: Maths, Physics, Computer Science A-Level: Maths, Computer Science Exam board experience: AQA, Edexcel, OCR No preferred age group, English speaking only. What I will do: As a tutor I am patient and adaptable, but thorough. I would like to learn about you and your learning style so I can adapt my teaching style to you. I believe that everyone is unique in the way that they understand a topic, so if an explanation doesn't work for you, please don't hesitate to tell me. With a more solid understanding of a topic, less memorisation is required and questions start to look easy. Even questions that you aren't prepared for can be doable with the right problem solving and exam technique. I can teach a topic, help with revision or even just do drop-in sessions to solidify understanding. About me: I was lucky to be raised in a household that promoted learning, so my experience of school was working long hours, getting the validation of high grades, and classmates asking me for help. I often spent time revising with classmates and helping them with understanding, and left college with A*A*A*A in maths, further maths, physics and computer science. I also read ahead in these subjects for my EPQ (A*) and my HPQ (A). I have 2 years experience as an instructor in the CCF, and I have been a helping hand academically in Y13 as a house monitor at my boarding school. In my free time I like to do my own coding projects, read about physics & maths (yes, maths can be interesting too!), and I play/write music for the piano. Other than A-Levels: EPQ: 3D Molecular Structure Simulator (A*) HPQ: Graphing Calculator for Engineers (A) GCSEs: Maths (9), English Literature (9), English Language (9), Design & Technology (9), Latin (9), Computer Science (9), Physics (9), Chemistry (9), Biology (9), Religious Studies (7) ILM Level-3 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Pass) Programming experience: C# (6yrs), VB (2yrs) Python (1yr) SQL (1yr)

It is so rewarding to work with my students and see them coming on as they become confident with their English and History skills. I enjoy being able to tutor students of a variety of ages and taking different courses as this is something I would not be able to do in a conventional education institution. The hours are good and flexible, plus there are non problems with overbearing management as the support and tutor management teams seem reasonable and helpful. Occasionally there are bugs and glitches but in an online system this is to be expected and taken in ones stride and I hope the company will continue to move forward helping students and develop for a successful future.
