Next September I will be training as a secondary school English teacher. I'm passionate about building student's confidence in their subject alongside building their subject knowledge. Based on my own experience, I'm keen to help students become more confident in how they perform in exam conditions and maximise the application of their knowledge when under pressure. Hi!! I'm a second-year PhD student at King's College London. My current research concerns the interaction between a surgeon and a robot during robotic-assisted surgery and the security behind it. So far, I've been looking into this area from different perspectives: implications of trust, user trust; disruptions to the process; effects of these interruptions; teamwork and collaboration in RAS and how this influences the patient outcome, anticipation from team members; human emotions. I love teaching, I have been a teaching assistant at the university for 3 years now. I ran small and large group tutorials. This has been a great opportunity for me to strengthen my understanding of the modules I taught, as I also marked students' assignments. Time management and attention to detail were two vital skills I developed through this role.
