Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I take a personalised approach to each student's learning needs, tailoring my teaching style to their unique strengths and weaknesses. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I specialise in teaching algebra, calculus, and geometry, and I am always excited to take on new challenges. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success.

Hi ! My name is Emilie and I am currently a first year medical student who has a passion for biology and sport. At A-level I studied PE, Biology, Chemistry and Maths and so can offer support with these subjects at GCSE level and A- level for biology. I am described by my friends as a friendly, caring and hard working person and I will always do my best to help others in any way possible

I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit. Hopefully, I can encourage more students, especially young women to pursue a future in STEM. I loved maths back in school and I do find myself still doing random mathematical questions as I love the subject. I was my favourite back in school. My teacher made English enjoyable and allowed me to have creative responsibilities, making me want to pass that on to the next generation. Apart from my educational background, I enjoy art, allowing me to be more creative and express myself in a different light. But apart from my academics, Im very creative and enjoy doing lots of artistic hobbies such as painting and drawing. My most remarkable talent is drawing landscapes. I also am a big movie buff so hopefully, I can if I have that in common with a student I use that to tailor lessons for them.

Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools.

I am a medical student, studying abroad in Georgia. I have been a tutor for 3 years and have mentored students, helping them with their assignments. I enjoy playing a range of sports such as football, basketball and table tennis. I've competed in various sport tournaments. I also like drawing and painting. Other interests I have include travelling, sightseeing and cooking. In my free time, I like to watch boxing and play video games. I am fluent in English and Punjabi and I am currently learning Spanish and Georgian.

 Having recently completed my GCSE’s, I am up to date with the exam specifications as well as knowing how to strategically answer exam questions.  Moreover, this allows me to have technical knowledge to stretch students' knowledge and skills.  Furthermore, I am empathetic to students struggling with key concepts and am patient as I try to explain the concept in different ways.  During my free time I like to play badminton, this helps me stay active and improve my coordination. Additionally, I do sewing which makes me feel relaxed.

Preferred student age group: My preferred age group is GCSE students, as I have the most experience teaching students at this level. About me: I am very passionate about science and love to share my passion by tutoring, writing articles for my university science magazine, and being part of many scientific societies. Outside of academia, I love cooking, rock climbing, and horse riding.
