I was involved in different editing and writing platforms as well as managing different environmental projects on campus. I am passionate about outdoor sports and have been lucky to enjoy multi-day kayaking, hiking, climbing, and surfing trips all over the world.

Hi there! I'm Alexis, and I'm known for being a bubbly and patient person. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of helping students at all levels achieve their goals and increase their confidence in maths and sciences! Lately, my focus has been on GCSE level students, where I've made it a priority to familiarise my students with the exam structure and questions as well as equipping them with effective strategies to tackle complex problems so they can approach their exams with confidence. Organisation is one of my key traits, so I often create personalised revision schedules and checklists for my new students to ensure they stay on track. I have a friendly and approachable teaching style, and so I tend build strong relationships quickly. When it comes to topics, my favourites are algebra, trigonometry, and energetics, and I'm experienced in teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, and AS in Maths and Sciences. Now, a bit about me outside of teaching! I have a passion for martial arts and regularly train japanese jiu-jitsu. In the past, I also used to wrestle (family thing). During weekends, you'll often find me immersed in activities such as painting acrylic landscapes, pursuing crafts, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. Hi! I'm Tom, 21 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.
