Hi! I'm Catherine and I am currently a second year chemistry student at Loughborough University. I took GCSE triple science where I achieved a 9 in chemistry, 8 in physics and 7 in biology. I then took A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, where I achieved an A in Chemistry. I also achieved a first (75.3%) overall in my first year of university. In my free time, I play the piano, bake and compete in dance competitions! I am passionate about making a difference and helping students realise their potential. I am a dynamic and compassionate tutor, with the ability to adapt lessons to specifically meet each students unique needs. I aim to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and develop their progress in their school subjects.

Lower level subjects: Mathematics, Sciences, 11+ GCSE: Mathematics, Chemistry I love mathematics and sciences and therefore being able to help others progress in these subjects is something I thoroughly enjoy. I have previously tutored in these subjects both online and face-to--face and have always received positive feedback for my use of tools, my positive attitude and my ability to adapt and tailor my sessions to each student. I love to play sports (particularly athletics) and try new activities such as learning new musical instruments and languages. I am currently an economics undergraduate university student with a keen interest in mathematics and the sciences. I received A*AA in my A-levels in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry respectively. I would say I am a very logical thinker when it comes to my academics, which of course has helped me progress so much in my preferred subjects.

Hello! My name is Hajra Yaqub and I am a medical student going into second year. I have a passion for teaching GCSE and A-level students and teaching students the tips and tricks I have learnt over the years to make concepts easier to understand and apply. I plan to use a friendly and encouraging teaching approach, as I want my classroom to be a space where my students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes, as this is how we learn best. Hi, my name is Matthew and I am currently studying biochemistry at university. I have helped and tutored other students in my past classes and am now teaching GCSE biology and chemistry for Edexcel as well as A-level AQA biology and OCR chemistry, but I am also open to other exam boards. I also have other hobbies such as going to the gym and kickboxing as well as travelling when able to.
