Hi, my name is Medhavi and I am a first year medical student. I aspire to teach in a way that is tailored for the student's individual needs by combining aspects of theory with hands-on learning and exam questions. I hope to foster a positive and encouraging environment for the student by patiently easing them into the content and building our way up. I understand that attending tuition can be a daunting experience at times, which is why I strive to be a compassionate and understanding tutor. I have achieved all top grades 7-9 in GCSE, with 9s in Biology and Chemistry. I have also achieved As in A Level Psychology and Biology. From years 7-13, I attended a highly selective grammar school and am now entering my first year of medical school. I have taken part in work experience at Broomfield hospital and have received certification for this. I have prior experience with tutoring, and have worked alongside children ages 5 and up in both teaching and volunteering jobs.

*Years of experience tutoring a range of different subject and age groups, including Maths, Physics, Chemisty and Biology* Engineering (which includes maths and science) is a fascinating and challenging field that involves solving problems and designing solutions to improve the quality of life. I love engineering because it allows me to use my creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of science and technology to create innovative solutions that can benefit society. As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand and enjoy engineering as much as I do. I believe that anyone can learn engineering with the right guidance and motivation. I will provide my students with the necessary tools, resources, and support to help them achieve their goals. My teaching style is student-centred, meaning that I tailor my approach to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I use a combination of lectures, examples, and hands-on exercises to help students understand the concepts and develop the skills needed to succeed in engineering. I am also a firm believer in the power of practice and feedback. I encourage my students to practice their skills regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Over the past 3 years as a tutor, I have worked with students ranging from Key Stage 2 to A-levels, in subjects including maths, physics, chemistry and biology. I have tutored primary school children struggling with basic numeracy and literacy skills, helping boost their confidence and abilities in the core subjects. For KS3 students, I have assisted with more advanced maths concepts and science topics in physics and chemistry to help them improve grades and tackle difficult material. At the GCSE level, I have experience tutoring all three sciences - chemistry, biology and physics - along with higher level mathematics. My tutoring approach has focused on filling in gaps in students' knowledge, teaching effective study habits and providing plenty of practice with past exam papers. More recently, I have begun tutoring A-level students in maths, physics and chemistry. At this advanced academic stage, my tutoring often focuses on ensuring strong foundations across all topics and teaching advanced problem-solving abilities. I have tutored students both privately and through platforms like MyTutor, Wisefox and Tutoring4You. Working independently and through these tutoring companies has allowed me to gain experience with a diverse range of ages and subjects. I find that my broad 3 years of experience has made me highly adaptable and has enhanced my tutoring skills. In summary, I stand out as a tutor because of my passion for engineering and my commitment to helping my students achieve their goals. I believe that anyone can learn engineering with the right support, and I am dedicated to providing my students with the tools and resources they need to succeed. YOU WILL SUCCEED WITH ME!

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

Hi, I’m Aisha. I have a strong passion for science, particularly chemistry and biology. I am highly intrigued by the fields of pharmacology, cancer research and genetics; I aspire to be a part of one of these fields after completing my degree in Natural Sciences. I thoroughly enjoy teaching others and helping students achieve the best results by working smarter, not harder. I have recently tutored GCSE maths, physics and biology. I like to make sure I have a structured plan for each of my lessons so that no time is wasted, however I also encourage my students to ask as many questions as they like, because this is the key to learning! I completed my GCSEs at Norbury High school for Girls. I achieved seven grade 9s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History and French. I achieved a grade 8 in Computer science and two grade 7s in English Language and English Literature. I completed my A-levels at Dunraven sixth form. I have achieved A*A*A* in my Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics A levels. I will be studying Natural Sciences at UCL from September!

My name's Uzair, and I'm an undergraduate student studying Chemistry and Molecular Physics at the University of Nottingham. Over my past three years at university, I've learned a lot, and figured it may prove useful to try to help others strive toward realising their best selves as far as academic growth is concerned. Speaking from personal experience, the learning process can feel incredibly daunting at times, but I'm hoping to make it more enjoyable for those who believe that's something they'd benefit from. At GCSE I achieved 5A*s, 3As, 2Bs and a C. My A*s included Maths (which I sat a year early), Physics and Chemistry - and I also got an A in Further Maths. At A-Level I achieved A*A*A - in Maths, Chemistry and Physics respectively. Enjoyed those a lot! At university, I've been studying Chemistry and Molecular Physics. I'll be entering my fourth and final year in September, and am projected to get a 2:1!

Ive been engaged with Go-Student for 2 school years. Our tutor has been fabulous and was able to very quickly develop a positive rapport with my child. The fact that the subject is taught in the same language as in school helps tremendously to avoid the many translation issues that I introduced when helping myself. Our tutor has been with us the entire time and scheduled classes are kept with very few cancellations or reschedule requests coming to me from her. In the end, the most important measurement is the improvement of the student... In our case, by this measurement, oir Fo-Student experience has been an overwhelming success. Test scores have improved dramatically and a visible boost in confidence has been achieved. 5 Stars all day long! Cannot recommend enough!

I first made contact with GoStudent through bark and had a really positive experience. I had a taster session with one of their tutors and was very impressed. I signed up for a 9 months membership with them, a they explain that is it important like anything to give learning time and to see the progress in action. This has definitely been life changing for my daughter who has turned round their learning this year with the tutor, she is now confident and doing well in her regular school assessments. I would recommend to many.
