I studied in Singapore for secondary and high school, so I am familiar with the British O level and A level syllabi, which are used in Singapore with minor variations. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. I have been teachign English language and grammar, Mathematics, History, and Biology to students up to secondary level both online and offline for the past 2 years. I am a passionate and patient teacher dedicated to making learning enjoyable and rewarding to my students. In my spare time, I write and produce for a podcast and a campus newspaper in English, and I'm in the orchestra of Le Havre as a violinist. My first language is Mandarin. Research Experience: I had research attanchment at Nanyang Technological University before coming to France for my University, under the Biochemistry department. I also interned at the Singapore Environmental Agency under the Wolbachia project for dengue control. This experience gave me a 3-month laboratory working experience with leading biologists and bio-engineers in the field of infectious disease control, which made me interested in the public health sector and related social policies.

I would describe my teaching style as engaging and adaptable I maintain an open stance towards feedback and novel ideas. My A level studies encompassed a multi-modal exploration, including speeches, plays, books, diaries, interviews, poems, comics, and blogs. This comprehensive exploration challenged me to grasp the nuanced aspects of communication, persuasion and emotion. Moreover, it granted me the opportunity to glean insights from numerous authors representing diverse cultural and historical backgrounds. Hence, I am a better communicator and empathetic person which shines through my teaching. I have a BSc in Physics and Applied Physics from Strathclyde University. I gained my CERT TESOL from Trinity College and taught English for 3 years in Hong Kong. I taught in kindergartens,Primary,Secondary schools. I also taught adults in various private learning centres. I returned to Glasgow and gained my PGDE in Secondary Physics from University of Glasgow. In my spare time, I train in Thai boxing (had a few professional fights), fitness and weights.

Hi! My name is ramisha and I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences and am currently doing a masters degree in Regenerative Medicine. Science is a great passion that I have, I’m surrounded by it daily and would have it no other way. As well as this, I’ve always had a love for English language and literature, and have always been a big reader. I tutor English Language, English Literature and Maths. I have been tutoring since I finished university and I really enjoy it. In between tutoring I write my own poetry and bake cakes to relax.
