As a current English and Film student at the University of Exeter, I have a strong passion for humanitarian subjects, in particular English and History, and would love to help other students as much as possible in recognising their own potential and discovering the beauty of learning. I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My name is Rebecca and I am from South Wales, United Kingdom. I have experienced living in different places around the UK and I lived in London for several years, which was an amazing experience to meet people from international countries and learn many things about their culture and interests too. I enjoy cooking at home, as formally I have trained on the job as a professional chef, mainly in seafood/fish restaurants and Japanese cuisine. I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree with honours in English Literature from Queen Mary University of London. I greatly appreciate that the ability to have a strong grip over the English language and how it can be utilisied in story telling to help us understand our own contexts and lives is a uniquely important skill. I have been aiding students from KS3 level to GCSE whilst undertaking my own studies. My highest education is my BA (Hons) from Queen Mary University of London in English, completing the course with a 2:1. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation.
