My oldest student started when she was in year 9 and she has improved her marks in Spanish consistently I also have experience teaching children online. I have been tutoring online since May 2021, and I have lots of experience helping students to reach their goals and realise their true potential. I'm currently studying at Sorbonne Université in Paris. and I'm incredibly enthusiastic about learning, travelling and getting to know people of all backgrounds. I'm a fluent speaker of French, having also previously lived in Québec. I believe in tailoring tutoring sessions to students' specific needs, and I also believe that it is impossible to learn effectively if you aren't enjoying the process of learning itself. I also have over 17 years experience working with children, young people and adults with learning difficulties/learning disabilities/disabilities/additional needs ranging from ADHD to ASD to global development delay and understand the need to adapt tutoring accordingly dependent on the individual's needs and making them feel as comfortable and at ease as much as possible. I love dance-I am an ex-dancemum as my daughter was a passionate dancer from a young age and I used to own a dance workshop business bringing choreographers from abroad to the UK. I am a very patient, kind and caring person and will try my best to make sure that any student is happy with how I work and if they aren't I will adapt my ways to suit them as they are the ones that need to benefit from it and if something I am doing doesn't work then I will try different ways until they are happy. I am a firm believer in letting children and young people lead the session even if I am working on specific topics but I keep them focused on the task at hand too. If there are available slots showing in evenings I start my lessons on the hour to maximise my available time for other students and would appreciate that if any bookings are made independently that they are booked following this time to be fair to as many students as possible. As someone who is passionate about languages and the advantages of being proficient in more than one, I aim to increase students’ confidence in German and help them to enjoy what is perceived to be a difficult subject, as well as widening their perspectives by exposing them to a culture that is different to their own. I incorporate interactive elements into lessons rather than solely focusing on textbook exercises and always ensure that a relaxed and friendly learning environment is provided, without any unnecessary stress or pressure. My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be!

Subjects I teach: I teach maths and French at a lower level, and GCSE, as well as further maths at GCSE level only and maths at A level. Exam board experience: I have experience with the AQA maths and further maths curricula, and for French I have experience with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and I used the AQA syllabus for my AS level. Languages: I speak french fluently and have done so since I was 5 years old. SEND experience: I do not have any experience with tutoring students with SEND. I was sometimes placed next to SEND students in lessons in year 9 because my teachers deemed me responsible and able to aid with their work if needed. Preferred student age groups: I enjoy teaching all age groups, but having had less experience with younger I am more familiar with older GCSE to A level students. About me: I was born in the UK but grew up in France from the age of 4, attending a french school for the whole 10 years I was there. This means that I speak the language fluently and achieved a French GCSE at 12 years old. I then moved back to England in 2017 and attended boarding school until the end of 6th form which was something I very much enjoyed. I came away with 13 GCSEs and 4 A levels. I now study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southampton. I am a vice-president of the motorsport society there and compete in both university and independent karting championships. I also play basketball and tennis twice a week and attend the gym regularly. I also enjoy playing the piano when I have time.
