I am an engineering university student with a diverse educational background from different countries. Owing to my diverse experience, I am able to teach using varied curricula, adopt different systems, and incorporate appropriate approaches to meet the needs of the students. I am still a student, so I have first-hand experience with what students require from a student's perspective. Although I have around 3 years of experience working as a part-time tutor, both online and physical,  I have been tutoring as a volunteer for about 8 years now.  I have worked with students from different parts of the world of all levels and ages. Aside from teaching as a career, I am passionate about it because I aspire that "learning should be fun." I teach because I love it, because I enjoy it, and because I want to help the student improve in the most amusing way possible. As the saying goes "if you do what you love, you will do it with passion," and I am here to help the students realize that they love learning. I began my lower-level studies in Tanzania (my home country), where I picked up the British educational system. I later received a scholarship to study abroad as an exchange student, moved to the US to complete part of my high school there, and then returned to Tanzania to finish my A-levels. At this point, starting with the modest volunteer programs I was taking part in in Tanzania, this is when I first learned about teaching. I was awarded another scholarship to Turkey to start my bachelor's in engineering. And this is when I started teaching as a part-time profession, taking it to the next level. I currently live in Lithuania as an Erasmus student and am constantly exploring new adventures and experiences as a teacher through different youth programs and volunteer camps. Likewise, I can't wait to embark on a new journey with you.

I am really looking forward to helping students to learn online. As a qualified teacher I worked in mainstream education for over 40 years teaching Key Stage 3 Science and also Key Stage 4 Combined Science and Separate Sciences to GCSE level as well as key Stage 5 Physics to Advanced level. I have also taught part of the GCSE Maths specification. After retirement I continued to teach as a Supply teacher at Secondary and Primary level. Also over the last year when classes were isolating at home I taught some classes online. I always enjoy the buzz of teaching and the excitement of experiencing students learning and helping them to progress with their lives. My Physics degree was from Bristol University and my MSc from Birmingham University. In my spare time I like to keep up by reading about recent advances in Science and where we are heading. As a teacher I used to run the table tennis and chess teams and would include those activities as my hobbies. So through online teaching I look to be efficient and adaptable hoping to help as many students as possible. BSc in Physics from University of Bristol and MSc in Physics of Materials from University of Birmingham. This is why I have highlighted Physics to GCSE and A level and Maths to GCSE. However in my teaching career I have taught Biology and Chemistry over many years.

Hello! My name is Kiera and i have a first class degree in Modern History. I am still at university working towards my masters degree now! Like you when, i was in school i needed tutoring to build up my confidence and subject knowledge, and without the tutoring i had ,i truly do not think i would be where i am today- and have such a passion for learning. While i love learning- i am human and need some winding down time. My favourite hobby is exercise and second to that is cooking as it lets my creative side come out! I have completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham. Currently, I am studying as a postgraduate in PGCE Secondary Mathematics to become a fully qualified maths teacher at the end of this academic year. Over the course of teaching maths, I have thoroughly enjoyed encouraging and helping students to engage with the subject. My students have completed their studies not just doing well in their GCSEs, but have explained that they actually find more enjoyment and understanding in the subject. Hi! My name is Aurora and I am a postgraduate student at the University of Manchester, studying a Masters in Development Economics. I am originally from Italy, but I moved to the UK when I was 16 and sat both my GCSEs and A Levels in London. In my GCSEs I achieved 8 A* and 4 A grades. These were the second-highest results in my cohort, despite the fact I had only been living in England for two years before sitting my exams. At sixth form, I taught myself French A Level in just one year and achieved an A grade, the highest grade in my class. I have always found learning languages an extremely rewarding, albeit sometimes frustrating process. Although languages open up doors to new ways of thinking and seeing the world around you, grasping the different aspects of a language, such as its grammar, can be demoralising. And that’s what I am here for - as a fellow language learner, I can empathise with the difficulties of this process and will do my best to make it as smooth and fun as possible. Furthermore, as a foreigner who has been through the UK education system, I am able to advise those in similar positions and facing similar challenges. Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. In 2021, I graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a Bachelors Degree in Drama and I am currently midway through my Insurance chartership. I will have my CII accreditation by February 2026. I currently work full-time as an Insurance Consultant but the highlight of my week, is supporting students on their academic journeys! :) I have been delivering high-quality teaching in both, face to face and virtual settings, for almost five years.
