Preferred student age group: GCSE & A-Level. About Me: I was that kid in school that never wanted to have a day off! I believe education is the one powerful tool that no one can ever take away from you- and that is what drives my passion to help students with their studies. I achieved 14 GCSE’s at secondary school and went on to achieve a Masters in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. In Primary School, I was awarded the Jack Petchey Youngest Achiever Award. However, education is not whole without some fun; I have also taken part in extra curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am the co-founder of the charity Broaden Out Their Horizons along with Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter. Through this charity, I flew to South Africa to teach English Literature to underprivileged children at Magoba School. My teaching method: I believe in tailoring each lesson depending on the individual's needs. I am open to using different methods and have a very friendly approach in order to help students meet their learning needs! I want the students to feel comfortable and to enjoy their learning to the maximum!

I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. I have various hobbies and interests, including reading, going to the gym, and watching sports, so I believe I have a variety of things I can relate to my students on, in order to build and maintain a rapport with them.

Hello! My name is Hattie and I am 20 years old. I have been an online tutor with GoStudent for two years now teaching students Maths, English, Geography and Spanish at a variety of ages and abilities. I really enjoy tutoring as seeing my students progress and fulfil their potential is so rewarding. I strive to help children find a love for learning and cater my tutor lessons specifically to each child's needs. I have also worked as a dance teacher for the past 5 years teaching students aged 4 - 16 additional to attending dance lessons myself each week. I am experienced SEN TA working as an Intervention Teacher with those who have fallen behind particularly with reading, comprehension skills, writing, maths work and SATs. I have a BA Hons degree English Literature, Language and Primary Education. I live on a small holding in the middle of rural Somerset with my husband, 2 sons and animals. I enjoy teaching especially when the weather lets us learn outside. My hobbies are cooking, reading, doing puzzles, riding, yoga, and watching my sons play rugby and their water sports.

Hello, my name is Helen and I have a BA degree in Criminal Justice Studies from Bradford University. The degree's main subjects were Criminal Law, Psychology, and Forensic Science. My hobbies include watching football, playing tennis, reading, and walking my dog. I have been an online tutor for 3 years. I have taught as an ESL tutor. During this time I have taught people of various ages and abilities. I create a positive learning environment. I personalize learning and create lessons that respond to students' interests. I equip students with the confidence and skills needed to incorporate technology into English language classrooms and for future jobs and life in general.
