Hi! My name is Sulaymaan! A-Level: Biology GCSE + KS3: Science and English Primary: Maths, Science and 11+ Preferred subject: Biology Preferred student group: KS3 to GCSE level I'm excited to share my knowledge and experience with students to help them achieve their academic goals. As a medical student, I'm most confident in my biology knowledge. I am currently in my second year at the University of Nottingham. I tutor A Level and GCSE English, GCSE History and 11+ entrance tests online. I did A Level English literature as well as GCSE history and english. My primary goal is to create a safe space where I can help others improve their skills surrounding these humanities-based subjects I completed my A Levels at Pate’s Grammar School with an A in English Literature, A in Politics and B in economics and GCSE with 9s in Maths, English literature and language, and history, as well as 8s in biology, chemistry, physics, business, religious studies and music. I am currently studying Classics at the University of Nottingham.

I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

I am a positive, energetic and knowledgeable teacher who seeks to help every single one of my students. My goal every day is to have an impact on young individuals. I am also hard-working and driven and mostly not afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and I know how to get the job done correctly . Hi! My name is Ross and I have recently graduated with a first-class degree in French, Spanish and Italian from Exeter University. I have lived abroad for two years studying in Italy and working in France. In France, I worked as a teaching assistant for a year which has meant that I already possess lot of experience working as a learning mentor and am really keen to continue. Having taken A-level History and achieved an A*, I also have a wealth of experience in essay-based subjects, as well as a strong knowledge of English and foreign literatures thanks to my degree in foreign languages. I look forward to continuing to help students achieve their learning goals and offer guidance on their learning paths. I have a first-class degree in Modern Languages and achieved 2 A*s and an A at A-level, as well as 9A*s and 2As at GCSE. I studied History, French and Spanish at A-Level and GCSEs included English Literature and Engliah Language. I will study an Msc next year at Cardiff University as a scholar specialising in Politics and Public Policy.

I’m Daisy, and I’m currently studying English Literature at the University of Leeds! I have a passion for both literature and history, and I achieved highly in both of these subjects in my A-levels. Essay subjects are hugely difficult, and can often seem overwhelming, however I will help students to break down questions, structure them clearly, substantiate their knowledge, and most of all make learning fun. Note: I no longer teach primary!!!

I am able to tutor History at GCSE, and A-Level I am also an experienced A-level Government and Politics on the Edexcel exam board. I have experience with tutoring AQA for History A-level and both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE level for History. I also have experience working with students surrounding academic and exam stress and anxiety, I have also done extensive public speaking coaching for both competitions and increasing confidence. In my spare time, I'm a massive theatre fan and I love going to see musicals and theatre shows with my friends I also love taking time to explore my university city and getting to know a different part of the country. My name is Monica and I have just graduated from St. Andrews with an MA in history and social anthropology. I always loved history and indeed still do. I choose to study anthropology because my English teacher got rather annoyed at my consistent questions about the characters' lives. "Just go study anthropology then" - and that is what I did. I am have graduated with a further masters with distinction in the history of Scotland and am moving onto a PHD this October. I love being able to combine my two passions in one degree. I try to explain it as anthropology giving an understanding of the present and history of the past. The marriage of the two academic subjects is interesting, indeed. For example, for my dissertation in the School of Anthropology looks at the community in Glasgow in 1592; tracking the influence of the Reformation at a local freedom. School exams definitely prepare you well for university expectations! There were some things that stood out for me at school as helping. I think you have to look after yourself as well as sticking to a study plan, definitely schedule breaks as well as something nice every now and again. I also think essay plans are key for the arts and english examinations and that is something I would be keen to help students create. Ultimately you need to understand the content, not merely recite a list of facts, once you do it is far easier to remember and argue your point in an exam.
