Last year I completed the International Baccalaureate, and have also taken GCSEs and IGCSEs. I studied all three of my subjects at IB level as well as at GCSE/IGCSE. I have also had tutoring experience from primary-GCSE level, with a preference for GCSE tutoring. I have also done courses on Autism, ADHD, and mental health and have taught people with SEND. I am also indifferent to the age of my students but would prefer to teach at GCSE level. Personally, I would describe myself as open-minded, kind, and caring and would also say that I am a nerd! I adore all things Star Wars, Harry Potter, and also love animals. I've had experience tutoring students at GCSE level for a variety of different subjects. I have also done work experience and volunteering at local state and private schools, particularly at primary-GCSE levels. My personal academic achievements include: Ten 9s and One 8 at GCSE/IGCSE Three 7s (A*s) at IB Three 6s (A*/A) at IB

As a current English and Film student at the University of Exeter, I have a strong passion for humanitarian subjects, in particular English and History, and would love to help other students as much as possible in recognising their own potential and discovering the beauty of learning. My main priorities when it comes to tutoring are adapting to each and every student's unique and individual learning style, as well as creating an environment that the student feels fully supported in. I am currently an undergraduate student entering my final year of English and Film at the University of Exeter. Moreover, in regards to my previous educational experience, I achieved in A* in English Literature, an A* in History and an A in Politics during my A levels at the University of Exeter. Before that, I attended a secondary school in Dubai where I achieved 11 GCSEs ranging from Grades 7-9. I am hoping to go on to achieve a Masters degree after my time as an undergraduate.

I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Chemistry at the University of Leicester. Throughout my studies, I have seen how hard learning can be. I hope to help students build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of their subject area so they can reach their full potential during exams. I aim to base my teaching around individual students and their needs. I would like to focus on exam question practice using techniques that helped me through my studies.

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I decided on getting a tutor for my son, he has ADHD and ASC which really impacts his ability to concentrate in the classroom, he hasn’t fallen behind so I decided it’s best to be proactive before that point. I found GoStudent, read reviews, and contacted them. I got a call back from an advisor to get to know the needs of my child so they could pair him with the best tutor for him. Lessons started the following week and his advisor did a perfect job finding him the best tutor. I was worried about the length of the lessons but Ioana (tutor) keeps my son engaged, encouraged and makes it fun for him. I listen to him during the lessons and his enthusiasm is off the chart! He is always so excited and ready to start his lesson, it is so reassuring for me. He obviously feels safe and accepted. He’s so excited to start with his English lessons and I know our advisor will have found the best tutor! Customer service is incredible too, you get a direct line to your personal advisor and ours (Arad) has been so wonderful. From a SEND parent, I cannot recommend GoStudent enough!

Unaisah Is a brilliant tutor and in the words of my daughter she is better than both my school teachers put together. She helps me to understand things in a way that is on my level whilst still being able to help me achieve a higher grade. I wish all school teachers were like her.
