**SSH** Hi, I'm Sophie (she/her) ! I'm currently studying English Literature, French and Dutch at the University of Sheffield, and I can't wait to share my passion for books, languages and everything in between! I have been tutoring for 2 years and am offering tutoring in English, French and History to A level. I finished my A Levels in summer 2021 so I completely understand not only the current exam system and latest revision techniques, but also how stressful school life can be, both inside and out of the classroom. My goal in becoming a tutor is to do my best to help you achieve your personal goals, whether you're aiming to simply pass a class or achieve the highest grade possible. I am a 23 year old full time tutor working from the United Kingdom. I have both a first class undergraduate degree in English and Drama, and a first class masters in Storytelling. I have taught (and still teach) GCSE English Language, Literature, Drama, History as well as the same subjects for A-level (excluding certain History subjects). I am most proficient in increasing grades in essay writing and creative writing formats. I am a native English speaker but I teach ESL, TOEFL, AND KET, so have extensive experience teaching students whose native language is Chinese. As mentioned above, I have attended university for 4 years and graduated almost 2 years ago. I have two first class degrees, with both dissertations scoring above 80 (indicating a publishable standard of work). My personal interests lay within fiction and non-fiction writing, as well as film and the art of gamic narratives.

I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York).
