Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree.

Hello! I started tutoring at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. I have a background of Science and Anatomy. I can tutor English, maths, and science at primary school level, and maths up to year 9 - specialising in years 5 and 6 maths, and 11+ exam prep. I have a certificate to teach English as a foreign/second language, and I work with 11+ exam preparation. I am a member of MENSA and I incorporate my logical thinking into my teaching, which children find helpful because of 'step by step' techniques. I like to make our sessions as fun as possible, including games and lots of praise! If one teaching method isn't working, let’s try it a different way. I speak some German, so if you are a native German speaker wanting to learn English, I may be able to incorporate this into our sessions. I'm happy to help with any GCSE or A-level Human Biology or Anatomy questions! I am also very musical, I fluently play the ukulele and bass guitar, and I sing too. I graduated university in the Netherlands just about 2 years ago and obtained a a double degree in English and economics! I am now beyond excited to help you get better at math, economics, business studies, English, or maybe a combination of all 4 haha! I currently am still living in the Netherlands but will soon be moving to Vienna to start a new chapter! I am a passionate Primary School Teacher that loves to help our next generation of young minds to progress and achieve their goals! I am very enthusiastic and my goal is to make learning fun and memorable. I currently teach Year 3 but have experience across all the year groups up to Year 6. I am a 23 year old full time tutor working from the United Kingdom. I have both a first class undergraduate degree in English and Drama, and a first class masters in Storytelling. I have taught (and still teach) GCSE English Language, Literature, Drama, History as well as the same subjects for A-level (excluding certain History subjects). I am most proficient in increasing grades in essay writing and creative writing formats. I am a native English speaker but I teach ESL, TOEFL, AND KET, so have extensive experience teaching students whose native language is Chinese.

Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools.

Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. I hope that I can incorporate my love for literature in my teaching to create memorable and long lasting connections through what I teach my students. I hope my passion for teaching can be seen through my lessons and will inspire those who I work with to achieve their personal and academic goals!
