Hi! My name is Sulaymaan! I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

At a lower level: I can teach the English language, explore literature, and aid phonetic and grammatical acquisition. At GCSE level: I can teach all aspects of English language and literature, including books, poetry and creative writing. I am familiar with a range of exam boards. I can help students whom are struggling with their exams, subject matter and can teach correct paragraph formatting. A-Level (IB): I can teach all aspects of English language and literature. I can help students whom are struggling with exams and can teach correct essay formatting, discourse analysis and answering evaluation questions. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths.
