About Me I am twenty one years old and am currently in my third year, studying English with Creative Writing. I live in Scotland and have grown up here my whole life. I was born in Dundee and now live in Aberdeen! I used to be an assistant ballet teacher, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to become a tutor. I also love to write poems and have released a poetry book! I also love to bake and hang out with my friends! I'm really excited to start my tutoring journey and meet new students! :)

I love to dance and have been doing this since the age of 4. I have taught maths GCSE for almost a year now so have acquired a lot of resources and tricks to get you the best grades. My preferred age group is Year 9+10. I have taught those struggling to pass and those aiming to achieve a grades 7+. I believe education is the one powerful tool that no one can ever take away from you- and that is what drives my passion to help students with their studies. I achieved 14 GCSE’s at secondary school and went on to achieve a Masters in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. In Primary School, I was awarded the Jack Petchey Youngest Achiever Award. However, education is not whole without some fun; I have also taken part in extra curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am the co-founder of the charity Broaden Out Their Horizons along with Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter. Through this charity, I flew to South Africa to teach English Literature to underprivileged children at Magoba School. My teaching method: I believe in tailoring each lesson depending on the individual's needs. I am open to using different methods and have a very friendly approach in order to help students meet their learning needs! I want the students to feel comfortable and to enjoy their learning to the maximum!

I’m currently a student studying biomedical engineering at university. I have been tutoring for 3 years and enjoy seeing my students progress and improve. I have taught students from primary to secondary schools. Helping students be more confident and improve in their subjects is always very rewarding. I’m a very patient tutor so students can feel comfortable to ask me multiple questions about topics they don’t feel confident in. I change my teaching style accordingly to my student’s preference to ensure they benefit the most of the lesson.

I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. I have various hobbies and interests, including reading, going to the gym, and watching sports, so I believe I have a variety of things I can relate to my students on, in order to build and maintain a rapport with them.

I am able to tutor History at GCSE, and A-Level I am also an experienced A-level Government and Politics on the Edexcel exam board. I have experience with tutoring AQA for History A-level and both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE level for History. I also have experience working with students surrounding academic and exam stress and anxiety, I have also done extensive public speaking coaching for both competitions and increasing confidence. In my spare time, I'm a massive theatre fan and I love going to see musicals and theatre shows with my friends I also love taking time to explore my university city and getting to know a different part of the country.
