I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students. I am a dedicated and passionate maths tutor who has experience for over 4 years in tutoring for SATS, GCSE and A-level students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GSCE period, I know how much of a nerve wracking experience it is for both students and parents, with my lessons focusing on teaching best based on the students learning style, I hope to put those nerves at ease. I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. I am a University of York Computer Science student originally from Australia but now living in York! Hi! I’m Arushi. I teach Maths at a lower level and at GCSE level. I also teach for the 11+ and can teach economics A-level. I can tutor for OCR, Edexcel and AQA maths exam boards, CEM for 11+ and edexcel for economics A-level. I have previous experience tutoring younger students at my secondary school and have even been hand picked by teachers to tutor their pupils for them. Maths is a specific subject I have spent a lot of time with, learning it from a young age and continuing to do it through my A-levels where I received an A grade. I was commended at GCSE for my english language skills receiving a grade 9 and getting an 8 in english literature.
