Hello! My name is Rebecca and I'm an experienced tutor with a mathematical physics PhD. Within the last year, I have completed over 1000 tutoring sessions in both physics and mathematics helping many GCSE and A-level students achieve the best possible grades. I believe all students can learn to love mathematics and physics, so while my sessions focus on teaching content and exam preparation, I also give time to helping students really understand concepts and increase their desire to learn. I am currently looking to take one about 35 hours of tutoring as my last batch of students are now finished with their exams. GCSE: Mathematics and physics. A-Level: Mathematics and physics. My name is Hafsa and I am a Dental student at the University of Manchester. My friends describe me as hardworking, dedicated and focussed. Science and Maths has a huge importance in my life, a lot of it to do with my degree but also because of an interest I have in me. Having attained AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths in A-Levels, and A*A* and a 9 in GCSE, I have developed from an outstanding student to an incredible tutor. In high school my English teachers always applauded my excellent english analytical skills as I acheived an 8 in GCSE, and I am looking forward to sharing these tips with students of my own. From my own journey, there has been many instances where I have taught myself content because the way the teacher taught me I just didnt understand. This made me an independent learner and encouraged me to reach my highest potential - not to meantion all the amazing tips and tricks I discovered and am excited to pass on to my students too. I have a vast experience of teaching, from volunteering experiences to jobs in different settings with tutoring - which helped me fine tune my teaching skills and made me really adaptable to different teaching styles. As a young tutor, the age gap between me and my students will be relatively small and will allow me to understand them much better, as well as make the lessons more fun and engaging as I know how to meet their needs. Hello, my name is Silena and let me tell you a bit about myself. I am an extremely ambitious, passionate and an outgoing individual always determined to get involved in new challenges and accept new opportunities. I’m currently in my final year at the University of Liverpool, studying Accounting and Finance, in hopes of achieving a first class degree. I love to get involved in different clubs like for examples I did synchronised swimming for 3 years, placing 5th at nationals, as well as earning gold and silver medals at different competitions. Currently, I am a member of my university cheerleading team, which has been an amazing, new experience allowing me to try something completely different and out of my comfort zone, as it is rather different from synchro as well as dance which I did for 10 years. I also have been trying to start up knitting during lockdown but it’s proven to be harder than I expected; so it’s still a work in progress. I’m also a huge believer in helping the community. I've been volunteering at my local nursing home and hospital for a total of 2 years during sixth form, which was an extremely rewarding experience. Why do I want to be a tutor? In my Chemistry Subject Champion role at sixth form, entailing teaching students the subject, I realised my passion for teaching and guiding others. As a student who experienced similar struggles during my exams and underwent tutoring, l’m able to significantly relate to young students, with regards to the pressures and stresses they experience. Moreover, as a synchronised swimmer for my local club, Hythe Aqua, I had responsibilities to teach the younger swimmers in preparation for national competitions and figure assessments. Despite, the difficulties when teaching younger pupils, due to lack of concentration and consistent interruptions, I developed a sense of patience when managing situations under pressure alongside commanding attention, in turn adapting my communication styles to the specific age groups. As someone who is able to relate to the experiences of balancing 12 subjects and has completing my GCSEs successful signified by achieving mostly A*s and As, I have the expertise to provide the necessary assistance and guidance. It is crucial for students to establish a close and trusting relationship with their tutors in order to feel entirely comfortable and fully engage with the session. I’d describe myself as a friendly, caring individual who is able to provide the support for every student to reach their full potential and achieve success in their studies. Attended Grammar School- passed the 11+ GCSEs All A*s and As English Literature and Language Mathematics Textiles, Biology, French, History, Religious Education, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry and ICT A-Levels Economics Biology Chemistry EPQ University of Liverpool - Accounting and Finance (4th Year)

I am Gabi and I have lived in England for 8 years. I have loved science since I was a little girl, I even ended up coming to the United Kingdom to fulfil my dreams by graduating from Biological Sciences at university. I am fluent in verbal and written Polish, English and French. I want to inspire my students to become as powerful as I did when I learnt English independently within 2 years so I could study at English university! You really can achieve whatever you wish for if you work hard, step out of your comfort zone, and believe in yourself! I enjoy planning lessons with lots of hands-on activities. I find the best way to teach is to create several different activities to appeal to various learning styles such as: Presentations, quizzes and debates Role-playing exercises and using videos and music Fill-in-the-blank and writing exercises Concept check questions (CCQs) testing knowledge about a given topic Instruction check questions (ICQs) testing understanding of instructions I love working with both, children and adults and have experience in teaching people in challenging environments from various ages. I have taught Science, Maths, English and French on one to one and group bases. I believe that every student has the potential to excel in their chosen field. It gives me great satisfaction to devote time to overcome students’ challenges and to design the approach personally to properly engage with everyone and help them achieve their goals. I finished school in Poland (primary, secondary and college schools). My secondary and college schools were bilingual - Polish &French. That means all the subjects were taught in both languages. I did level 2 Maths and English Literature Functional Skills when I came to the UK. Then I achieved overall distinction after completing level 3 Forensic Science Access to Higher Education course. Subsequently, I graduated university with Biological Sciences being awarded 2:1 Upper division grade. Recently I passed online tutor course which amongst others taught me: class management and children safeguarding. Finally, I completed a 120 hours TEFL course.

Hello! I am Riddhi. I was a graduate student studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh 2021-22 and have now switched to web development recently. I am particularly interested in teaching Physics as well as Mathematics, as I can confidently claim that I have developed a deep intuition for both of these disciplines over the years. I believe that learning both Maths and Physics can be made into a fun process if taught accurately! I have done a Post-graduation course in Theoretical Physics. Apart from my personal education, my tutoring expertise lies in teaching Physics from Year 8 till Year 13, as well as teaching Maths till Year 9. I have been in the tutoring profession for past 5 years now. My greatest achievement so far would be getting a student from zero interest in studying Physics, to teaching them beyond their current year curriculum within just months. Being a Masters student, I understand the necessity for learning certain conventions (the hardest bit for a lot of students) in Physics and Maths, understanding which makes students grasp the subject matter much more efficiently.

I came across go student online. I hadn't heard of it before. I spoke with Jacob and he walked me through the process. We were placed with Raksha for my daughters vitural tutoring classes. I am so happy I found go student. My daughter has extreme anxiety and very anti- social. She would NEVER go on camera before. She has built up a relationship so quickly with Raksha and she even shows her face on camera. The best part about the lessons is all the laughs I hear. To me that's a sign of comfort. I will continue my subscription with go student for a very long time. My daughter is doing absolutely amazing with it, and I wish I had of started sooner. We love Raksha so much I added more classes with her :).

Maths tutoring to improve grades and self-confidence
Poor performance in maths is often due to low self-confidence rather than a lack of effort, and the current school system can underestimate just how much this can affect academic success.
An online maths tutor can offer one-to-one lessons tailored to your child’s needs, addressing any areas that need extra support or revision and allowing them to work at their own pace. Maths tutors can also help with homework, and as they are outside the traditional school system they can adapt their teaching style to suit the individual student. This leads to improved understanding, which builds confidence and results in better grades.
Maths exam preparation and maths revision classes
Whether your child is studying for a maths GCSE, an A level in England or Wales, a Leaving Cert (Northern Ireland and Ireland) or the National 3,4,5 Maths Higher or Advanced Higher in Scotland, we will have a maths tutor suited to them who knows the curriculum well. Even if you’re short on time, they can help your child master the essentials fast so that their exams are as stress-free as possible.
Maths homework help
Maths homework helps students learn new concepts they will use in the future as well as develop good study skills and habits. Keeping on track with the rest of the class leads to more enjoyable lessons, improved self-confidence and better results.
The advantages of studying maths
Mathematics is a subject in numerical sciences that includes algebra, calculus and basic arithmetic. It develops critical thinking, which involves checking conclusions and results to ensure that they are founded on sufficient data and sound reasoning.
A widely-held misconception is that a maths degree is only useful if you intend to teach. However, those with maths degrees have access to exciting and fulfilling career opportunities in a wide range of fields including economics, financial analysis, software development and medical science.
Employers understand that if you can perform arithmetic, you can do any job that requires exact analysis and deductive reasoning.
What topics can be covered in online maths classes with a qualified tutor?
Our maths tutors have a wide range of different specialities to be able to help your child on their way to becoming a maths star. They can cover topics from the GCSE curriculum such as:
