Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices. After coming to England, I tried to make the most of my scholarship at a private school and try things that I have never thought of doing. For my A levels I did Mathematics, French, Music, and Classical Civilisations (A*, A*, A*, A). In my free time, I would attend Ancient Greek and coding classes. I have also received distinctions in ABRSM music exams: Theory Grade 5 and Piano Grade 8. Now I study music composition at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I am currently in my final year studying history at the University of Nottingham, I am a friendly and patient person with a passion to share my love for studying.
