About me: Subjects I teach: Lower level (Primary- Year 8): English, Maths, Science, Geography GCSE level (Year 9- Year 11): Biology, Chemistry, Geography, English (Literature and Language) Exam board experience: AQA/Edexcel/OCR Preferred student age group: Primary and/or GCSE A little about me: Hello! My name is Montaha. I am a regular tutor who has taught over 300 lessons online with GoStudent for over three years! I am proud to say that I have extensive experience tutoring multiple GCSE students across the UK in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and English. My teaching approach is informal yet effective. I prefer to help students learn using a method that works best for them, whether by reviewing exam questions, explaining concepts with diagrams, or dissecting lesson material to make it much more straightforward. I believe understanding what the exam board is asking for and how the mark scheme works is critical to achieving high grades at GCSE level. During my tutoring sessions, I will always provide hacks to all my students on what will make them stand out to an examiner whilst making the lessons as enjoyable as possible. I have achieved multiple successful GCSE results with my previous GCSE students and have had extensive experience working with GoStudent. I am eager and more than happy to welcome any new students on board! Hello! I'm Montaha, a BSc Biomedical Science graduate currently studying at master's level in MSc Therapeutic Radiography. I have a great interest in Biology after studying it at university but I also love Geography, particularly when I was studying it during my GCSEs. Feel free to ask me any questions during our sessions about uni life, uni applications, or even biomedical science in general for those who are interested. I am more than happy to share any advice. I have been a tutor with GoStudent for over three years and have taught over 300 GCSE lessons online to students all across the UK. I have a strong passion for teaching and aim to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible!

Lower levels: Math, Chemistry, Biology GCSE level: Math, Chemistry, Biology Languages: English, Italian, Sinhala Preferred age groups: 5 yrs -16 yrs (YEAR 1- YEAR 11-OL) Hello parents and kids! My name is Mashika, and I am a civil engineer and a have also worked as a middle school and high school teacher at Villa Grimani International School. I have a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering that I am currently pursuing. Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn. This has truly shaped my teaching style which involves alot of interactive discussions and problem solving which in turn leads to increased self confidence and reasoning ability in students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have had the privilege of tutoring students of different ages and backgrounds in subjects such as Math, Chemistry, and Biology. This experience has strengthened my teaching skills, especially when it comes to understanding different student learning styles. I have found it fascinating to see how students grasp new concepts when they are related to real-life analogies. I find great joy in teaching, and one of my favorite quotes is by Steve Jobs, who said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do". As a former student myself, I understand the challenges of studying, and I strive to make learning fun for my students. ARE YOU EXCITED TO JOIN ME ON THIS ACADEMIC JOURNEY? Levels and Subjects: - Year 10 students and up. - GCSE: Maths, Physics, Chemistry - A-Level: Maths, Physics, Further Maths ***I do NOT tutor A-level Chemistry.*** Exam Board experience: - AQA - CAIE (OCR) - Edexcel Languages: - English (full fluency) - Arabic (native) - Turkish (fluent) I absolutely love to learn, and I find fulfilment in it. My favourite way to give back is to teach others, and to spread the knowledge that I gained through learning. This is why I love to tutor. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Aerospace Engineering while working part-time as an engineer. This means I heavily use Maths and Physics in my everyday life, so I clearly understand how central it is to our world today and how valuable it is to master them. I bring this knowledge and experience into my lessons to give my students practical perspectives and real-world insights, helping them not just excel in their grades but also prepare for their futures. Outside of academia, I love to catch up with friends, travel, paint, learn new languages and tinker with electronics and programming.

GCSE: At GCSE, I am available to tutor Maths, Chemistry, and, Biology. At GCSE, I achieved 9 A* in; Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies, Digital technology, English, and, Religious Education. I achieved an A in GCSE German. At A level, I achieved an A* in Maths, Chemistry, and, Biology. Exam Board: I completed all my GCSEs and A levels under the Northern Ireland CCEA exam board (NICCEA i.e. Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment). Experience with: I have experience of the NICCEA and AQE system; at GCSE and A level, and, 11+ level respectively. I have experience tutoring a student for the 11+ exam, who completed the exam and got into his first choice (grammar) school. I have also experience working as a classroom assistant for ages 5-7, teaching them basic maths and money skills; helping them to really grasp the basics. I do not really have a preference with regards to age group or subject. About me: I am a 21 year old, second year Medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am a football enthusiast; both as a player and a fan, and, also work with 11-13 year olds as a teacher in my church Sunday school. I also play a bit of piano after achieving up to Grade 6, although this is more of a hobby than a real skill in all honesty! I am a logical thinker and good communicator; with a large emphasis on being able to understand the question and the problem and then being able to solve it. For certain age groups, I will be using past paper questions to help build technique in answering common questions and, therefore, a create a strong foundation for more difficult questions. However, it is imperative topics are understood before they are tested so more fundamental teaching will always be put in place before questions. Apart from GCSEs and A levels, I don’t have any other ‘main’ qualifications but I’ve achieved Gold in a UKMT Maths Challenge and also completed the Chemistry Olympiad at A level. I also completed optional Scholarship exams at Trinity College Dublin, and am now a funded Medical Scholar for the rest of my degree. I have also completed the medical entrance exams, achieving 3180 99th percentile in UCAT, and 189 95% percentile in HPAT. I’ve Also completed a 5 week online course on Airway management in Intensive care and emergency situations; tied in very well with my love of Medicine

Ceri is absolutely brilliant with my 6yo son. He's a bouncy Duracell bunny of a kid, but she manages to keep him pretty engaged and interested during the lessons. The lessons are tailored to what he loves and she's great at adapting and changing things up to maintain his attention. We've already seen a real improvement in his spelling and writing since tutoriing with Ceri.
