Hi, I’m Lily and I’m a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my second year of completing the joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage with students and adapt my teaching methods to the particular student to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible in a fun and relaxed setting. I teach biology, law and Spanish after studying them at both GCSE and A-level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in these areas to students who are keen to learn of all ages. Hello! I have been a tutor for 8 years with ages 4-17 in a variety of subjects including English, History and Philosophy. I am happy to teach 11+ and English for primary school students, English, RS and History to GCSE level and I am also able to teach A- level History, Ethics and Philosophy. I have worked with children through Debate Mate teaching politics and my students competed at a national level and were extremely successful. I am very calm and patient and I can make lessons engaging for all ages. In my spare time, I meet up with my friends and my boyfriend- I love being in nature! I also spend a lot of time travelling particularly to German-speaking countries to better my language. If I’m doing none of these things then I will be at home cuddling with my kittens. I am currently studying Politics and German at the University of Manchester and I am in my third year predicted at a 2:1. I acquired 3 A-levels in History, Philosophy and Ethics and German with AAC as the final results. As mentioned previously, I have tutored for many years and I am well equipped to work with children who are anxious or may need that extra bit of support to build their confidence. I am a natural sciences student studying at the university of Durham. I got straight A*s and As at A level and straight 8s and 9s at GCSE (except for a 7 in history - gah, I still can't believe that happened!) I am a psychology student at the University of Sussex. I am currently on a placement year. I am a dance captain at university, as I have been dancing for 16 years. It is my biggest passion and I love helping others explore their love of dance. I am a confident and outgoing individual who loves listening to music and exploring the outdoors with friends!
