My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm also an avid reader gravitated towards the fantasy genre, personally I am a fan of Lord of The Rings, as well as all the other stories that J.R.R.Tolkien had written for the world of Arda, A Song of Ice & Fire is also another favourite of mine delving into a deep and dark setting, with a more pronounced adult tone, building a vast expansive world full of mystery, eldritch horror and slight bits of magic scattered around, while still emphasising the realistic nature of humans. Anime is one of my first passions an introduction to the Japanese language in the form of animation, flashy visuals and cultural phenomena that paved a path for the youth of my generation the art and creativity put into those shows has really instilled the same characteristics in me.
