Levels and Subjects I Teach 11+ Exam Preparation (Math, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning) KS3: Math and Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) GCSE: Physics and Math both foundation and higher tier A-Level: Physics Exam Board Experience Majority of my students have been affiliated with AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge. I have helped students prepare for 11 plus exam and also tutored KS3 students. Languages I am fluent in English and Urdu I can speak and understand Hindi and Punjabi SEND experience: I have experience of teaching students with ADHD and dyslexia Preferred Student Age Group I understand that one needs to adapt according to the student's age group- with primary year and middle year students you need to be very engaging and make the lessons as simple as possible whereas with GCSE and A-levels you can count on the student's foundational knowledge and use higher level of pedagogy. I mostly use powerpoint presentations to tutor KS3 students and while helping my students prepare for their 11+ exam, and it has proved to make lessons more engaging for them. However, in case of GCSE and A-levels, I invite my students to the whiteboard so we can solve, draw and practice in real-time. I believe that I am comfortable in working with students of all age groups: KS3, GCSE and A-levels. About Me I am a Civil Engineer pursuing a Master's in Water Resources Management, with over 9 years of experience in the STEM field. Since early 2022, I have taught Physics and Mathematics to Middle Year, GCSE, and A-Level students, with over 90% of my students achieving top grades (7+ in GCSE or A/A* at A-Level). My teaching approach ensures students not only understand the material but also enjoy the learning process. Academically, I have consistently ranked among the top performers: Rank 1 in my College Exam Board, Rank 5 in High School, a finalist in the International Chemistry Olympiad, and recipient of the prestigious Industrial Award during my undergraduate studies. Additionally, I earned a certification from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in "Learning to Teach Online," where I learned how to effectively use technology and innovative teaching techniques. My focus is on ensuring students grasp the "Thought Behind Things," enabling them to confidently approach any question and excel in their exams. I have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and graduated in 2019 with Industrial Award. I have a certification in Online Teaching from the University of New South Wales. I ranked 1st in my College board exam (2015) and ranked 5th in my High School board exam (2013).

Friendly and enthusiastic maths and science tutor for GCSE and A level. Currently doing a master's in Astrophysics at the University of York and have 2 years of tutoring experience. Whilst school can follow the same routine each day, I think it is important to make each lesson different and fun whilst learning the content to help students succeed in their subjects. As everyone learns differently I believe it is important to get to know the student as an individual and tailor each session to their requirements to get the most out of a lesson. It is important that students can not only answer exam questions but understand the content, therefore I aim to help students think outside the box and beyond the standard curriculum. I strongly believe this is will help students tackle difficult questions or new concepts in the future. I love athletics and am part of a local running club where I train for hurdles. I have also been playing the violin since I was young and love being part of my university orchestra. I am also learning German as a hobby; languages have always been my passion, and I enjoy learning different languages to communicate with others. Tutoring offered: - Physics, maths and chemistry at KS3 and GCSE. - Physics and maths A level. - Introduction to Physics/maths/chemistry A level. ( Great for over the summer between year 11 and 12 is you want a head start) Currently studying physics at university and haven recently completed my A levels in maths, physics and chemistry I have a good understanding of the Uk/Irish curriculum and the structure of exam questions across a range of exam boards. I have been tutoring maths for two years from primary ages up to A level, which has taught me a lot about different methods of tutoring and how to approach difficult concepts, and am eager to help students with any problem either through content learning or exam style practice.

About me: Hi, my name is Hasan – I’m a Medical Student at The University of Leeds, with over 1500 hours tutoring KS3 and GCSE Sciences as well as A level Biology and Chemistry. Having worked with numerous students from start to end of their studies, I have an in depth understanding of what is required of students in preparation for their examinations. On average, my students have shown a 2-3 grade improvement from their previous level. My Style: Tailoring explanations to the specific needs of students and creating an interactive environment is an important part of my lessons. Key concepts (especially in Chemistry and Physics) require things to be explained step by step – I explain these concepts with the use of my own written Powerpoints along with the use of an online whiteboard to draw and describe things easily. Some of my reviews: 'Susan' - Parent (A-Level Biology) – “Hasan has been an all-round excellent tutor – he has worked closely with Tom over the past 2 years and his grades have improved from 6s in the sciences to 8s and 9s” 'Haris' - Parent (GCSE Chemistry and Physics) – “Ahmad got his GCSE grades today and he did brilliantly – can’t thank you enough” 'Mary' Parent (A-Level Chemistry) - “Thank you for your time and patience, you did an amazing job tutoring Elliot!” 'Muslih' - Parent (GCSE Sciences) - “Rania used to struggle a lot with the certain topics in chemistry but since her lessons with Hasan started she has started to find these concepts much easier to understand” Saqib - Parent (GCSE Sciences) - “Hasan has been great tutor and helped Hamza a lot in preparation for his Science GCSE exams – good job” Sara’s Mother (Year 9 Sciences and Maths)– “My daughter was so unhappy with her school teachers but Hasan was very thorough and brought back some fun to lessons as well” Subjects and Levels: Tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics and A-Level Biology and Chemistry Student Age Group: - Secondary School - GCSE - A-Level Education: GCSE: - Maths - A* - English - A - Physics - A* - Chemistry - A* - Biology - A* - Business - A* - Religious Education - A* - Statistics - A - History - A* - Geography - A* - Humanities - A* - Business - A* A-Levels: - Biology - A* - Chemistry - A* - Business - A*
