Lower Level: Any core subject, mainly: Maths, English, Science, Modern Foreign Languages, (French/Spanish) GCSE: French A Level: French Exam board experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel. Languages spoken: English (fluently), French (C1), Spanish (B1), Russian (A1). Preferred Student Age Group: Any! :) About me: Hello, my name's Flora and I am a student studying French and Russian at the University of Manchester! I studied the core subjects at GCSE and chose Further Maths, French, Spanish, History and Art as my options, and then continued onto A Levels with French, Maths, and Art! In my gap year before university, I went to France (Bordeaux) as an Au Pair. I looked after 2 boys and taught them English! I had a great time living with the French family and improving on my French language skills whilst helping improve their English skills. I discovered my passion for tutoring whilst I was in France and love sharing little techniques that have helped me achieve good grades in the past, and helping others reach their full potential! :) My hobbies include playing netball, painting, and travelling! Exam season can be a very worrying/stressful time for many of us, and so I am here to help ease that anxiety by building a plan of action with you, working out your goals and how we will achieve them, and also teaching you some breathing techniques if you would like! It has certainly helped me:) If you are interested I would love to get to know each other better! I'm a highly driven, enthusiastic learner and teacher; I am currently completing my qualification to become a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher to teach abroad and help students of all ages and backgrounds gain confidence in English. Alongside this, I am currently completing my degree in Zoology. I can teach a variety of age groups and subjects including maths, biology, general sciences, geography, zoology, and English at primary and KS3 levels—as well as English literature, English language, biology, psychology, zoology and geography at GCSE. Due to a new job in childcare, the only times I have available for teaching are during school hours on Monday-Friday. I also have a 9 a.m. slot on Sundays. Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel. Languages: Fluent/native in English (currently completing a TEFL/TESOL course in the English language as well), Basic French and Spanish. SEND: I do not have any specific experience with SEND groups, however, I have worked with children in mixed-ability groups. I am more than happy to cater my tutoring towards any SEND requirements or disability requirements, I aim for my lessons to be as accessible as possible. I have quite a few students currently that are SEND and have been successful with them so far. Preferred student age group: Primary age up to GCSE, and any ESL/TEFL students wanting to learn English I have many hobbies including music, reading fiction and non-fiction and learning new things from scientific literature. I would like to say that I'm always doing a hobby that is interesting and productive but I also love watching movies in bed and taking lovely, long walks around town with my headphones on. As a student that prioritised my grades and my studies so much, I understand far too well how it can affect your mental health and well-being. Making sure my students are happy and confident is my number one priority, and I will ensure that I act as a supportive and compassionate tutor. Higher education at university base in the Biological sciences department (specifically focused on Zoology) Completed A-Levels/BTECs in biology, psychology and medical science and 10 GCSEs ranging from A*-B grades I have a level 1 certificate in British Sign Language, I completed this by joining a British Sign Language Society in my 2nd year of university. I also have a Gold University of Chester Volunteering Award (UCV), awarded to me for dedicating over 150 hours to various volunteering projects. This included my role as a project leader for 'Bonding Through Books'; this project aimed to create a fun and safe environment for primary-age children to learn and read outside of the curriculum.

Lower level- Maths, biology and chemistry GCSE- Maths, biology and chemistry A-level- Biology and Chemistry About me: I am in my final year studying Biochemistry at University of Birmingham and I will be attending Imperial College London in September to continue my studies toward a masters degree in applied biosciences and biotechnology. I am a very ambitious student always eager to learn and share my knowledge with others. Over the years I have built up many skills that have enabled me to become a good tutor. I am a positive person, very organised with an in depth knowledge about my subjects. I am adaptable and can cater to all students of all levels with previous experience in tutoring my friends and family over the years. My sister is currently doing GCSE in all three subjects so I am aware about the exam curriculums and have a lot of practice with exam style questions. I also enjoy to spend time with children as I previously used to volunteer for my local scout association where I would teach the children new skills in order to acquire their badges.

Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a 5th year medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. GCSEs (2016): Maths = A* Further Maths = A* Biology = A* Chemistry = A* Physics = A* English Lang. = A* English Lit. = A* Religious Studies = A* History = A* Art = A* Spanish = A* A-levels (2018): Biology: A* Chemistry: A* Maths: A* Further Maths: A Psychology: A

I really like the change in tutor, she brings out the best in my daughter! I haven’t been impressed with some aspects of go students customer service, especially prior to daisy we had a change in tutor with little or no assistance from go student; we weren’t consulted on the new tutor and that particular tutor ended up not being the right fit at all for my daughter, she was very sad. We also know the customer service manager Daniel has left but I haven’t been advised of his replacement. With that said the lady who arranged for daisy to be placed as my daughter’s tutor was absolutely amazing, calm, patient and really committed to finding a suitable replacement for daisy.

Amazing and dedicated. Cheyenne wastes no time and gets to work, ensuring she is prepared for both my daughters' subjects. Both my daughters enjoy studying with her, and both have significantly benefitted - getting their grades up. And Cheyenne could easily switch from Maths to Economics when needed. I am very grateful the first tutor we encountered has been able to stay with my daughters - we are in our second year now.
