I am a certified TESOL teacher who studied English at college, and law and business studies at university. I spent three years teaching English in Tokyo, Japan - first for a language school and then in business. Since returning to the UK, I have taught for many different companies and also as a private home tutor. I'm used to teaching adults and children of all ages and am accustomed to working towards examinations. As a tutor, it's important that my student feels comfortable and has confidence in my abilities to help them progress so I have a relaxed manner when teaching but with an eye on reaching targets.
