Hi!! I'm a second-year PhD student at King's College London. My current research concerns the interaction between a surgeon and a robot during robotic-assisted surgery and the security behind it. So far, I've been looking into this area from different perspectives: implications of trust, user trust; disruptions to the process; effects of these interruptions; teamwork and collaboration in RAS and how this influences the patient outcome, anticipation from team members; human emotions. I love teaching, I have been a teaching assistant at the university for 3 years now. I ran small and large group tutorials. This has been a great opportunity for me to strengthen my understanding of the modules I taught, as I also marked students' assignments. Time management and attention to detail were two vital skills I developed through this role. This experience has proven to me that different people interpret the same ideas with new perspectives, and has made me aware of the various methods available to approach problems. In my spare time, I play sports, travel and paint. I have been skiing since I was 4 years old and at university, I joined the rugby and tennis teams. I am a very competitive person. I love travelling, my top countries so far are France, Germany and Austria. My favourite museums are art galleries and I like to collect fridge magnets :)). Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering - King's College London: First Class Honours TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language: 120-hour Premier online TEFL course ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Overall Band Score 8

Hi there! My name is Oliver (or Ollie). I am a 22 year old student currently completing my Mathematics BSc at the University of Nottingham. I have experience in tutoring online and like to believe I am an empathetic tutor who understands what it's like to be in a position where I'm not performing as well as I should due to not enjoying what I am learning. As a result I think I will be able to relate to many students who require tuition. Over the years I have developed a way of thinking about and approaching different concepts in order to develop a true understanding. I hope I will be able to pass this on to anyone I assist in their studies so that they achieve what they are capable of. Thank you for reading and regards, Ollie Currently completing a Mathematics BSc at the University of Nottingham (3rd year). A*A*A at A-Level (Mathematics, Economics and Physics, respectively). AAAA at AS-Level (in aforementioned subjects as well as History) 13 A-C grades at GCSE-Level. Passed the 11+ back in 2011.

Lower level: Primary Math's, English and Science GCSE level: Science (specifically biology and chemistry), English A-level: Biology Exam board experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, 11+ Language: English Preferred student age group: Primary, GCSEs and A-level About me: I am a biomedical student at the University of Chester, studying Bioveterinary Science BSc with honours. As you can probably guess, my future goal is to work with animals and progress throughout my career to eventually become a Veterinary Surgeon. I have three dogs back at home, who I adore! One of my biggest accomplishments is gaining my black belt in karate back in 2020. Some of my best friends graded for their black belts at the same time, it was a great experience for us. As well as this, before the age 18 I managed to climb the UK 3 peaks. I have a lot of experience with online learning because most my A-levels were learnt from behind the screen during lockdown so I know what it's like from the student side of online learning as well. It is because of this that I am eager to help students progress in life to reach their own goals. Increasing a students learning potentials and confidence will be a key factor throughout their life. I have experience working with students struggling with anxiety, dyslexia and ADHD, as well as students who are extremely shy so communication is minimum. I am practically proud to say that a lot of my students eventually come out of their shells, meaning that at school, home and other activities they are able to express who they are without a worry. Thus giving them a great leap into their future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds. I have also completed four online courses, they are in Animal behaviour and welfare, Ecology and ecosystems, Edivet: basics of veterinary Surgery, Canine communication. I am currently studying at the University of Chester doing a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioveterinary Science.

I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit. Hopefully, I can encourage more students, especially young women to pursue a future in STEM. I loved maths back in school and I do find myself still doing random mathematical questions as I love the subject. I was my favourite back in school. My teacher made English enjoyable and allowed me to have creative responsibilities, making me want to pass that on to the next generation. Apart from my educational background, I enjoy art, allowing me to be more creative and express myself in a different light. But apart from my academics, Im very creative and enjoy doing lots of artistic hobbies such as painting and drawing. My most remarkable talent is drawing landscapes. I also am a big movie buff so hopefully, I can if I have that in common with a student I use that to tailor lessons for them. BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences Primary: Maths, English, Sciences, 11+ exam, and entrance GCSE: Maths, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, History Exam Board Experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, 11+, SJT Student Age: Upper Primary (Year 5-6) and Secondary (GCSE)
