I graduated university in the Netherlands just about 2 years ago and obtained a a double degree in English and economics! I am now beyond excited to help you get better at math, economics, business studies, English, or maybe a combination of all 4 haha! I currently am still living in the Netherlands but will soon be moving to Vienna to start a new chapter! I really enjoy tutoring and helping people become better at their desired subject(s), it really is incredibly rewarding to watch people make progress and exceed their own expectations with my help. I spent a lot of my teenage years moving around Europe, I ended up settling in Vienna, Austria and going to high school there. I graduated and obtained the IB Diploma before moving to Tilburg, the Netherlands to get a bachelor's degree in Economics and English. Moving to study in the Netherlands was an amazing decision, I have loved every minute here and I highly recommend the Netherlands to all students considering studying abroad! Soon though, I will be moving back to Vienna to start my professional career within the heart of Europe and alongside the people that matter most to me haha

I have taught at The Grange School – an Independent school situated in Hartford, Cheshire. I was at the school for 23 years of which 16 were Head of Department and have just recently taken early retirement. I have taught 11-18 years old and at A level have experience of all examination boards. I have been leader for the NEA aspect of the course for the last 5 years and have mentored students in topics such as The Angevin Empire, Tudor Rebellions, 17th Century Witch-craze and The American Revolution through to Civil War. I have taught A Level and GCSE every year at school and our results have been excellent. We have had nothing less than a B grade since 2018 and this year gained 5 A* 9A and 4 B grades. Our results at GCSE were 100% Grade 7-9 from 42 students half of which were Grade 9. In relation to tutoring I have extensive experience of online teaching and have mentored students at GCSE and A Level. Our school did online teaching during the whole pandemic and I am proficient in using Zoom, Teams and AdobeConnect. I also mentored students who were looking to study History at University including Oxford and Cambridge of which we have had many successes. I have been a team leader, examiner and moderator of coursework at both GCSE and A level for over 10 years working for AQA, OCR and EdExcel. I have also taught Government and Politics and I am able to offer that as well to a very high level. Availability: Flexible weekdays and weekends during term time and holidays. Testimonials: From a parent of an A Level Parent who gained an A * at A Level. I’m delighted you chose today to ‘connect’. I wanted to write to let you know how pleased we are that Jess was so lucky to be taught and inspired by you. Today is a cherry on top moment but we have always appreciated your teaching. We think her very lucky to have had someone like you, who sought to educate rather than just prepare young people to pass exams. The passion for learning that you shared will stay with Jess forever. Hi Mr Robson, I hope you are enjoying a well earned summer holidays and relishing the new ownership for Newcastle. Great news that Molly got her grades (and a A* in History) to go to LSE (and perhaps just as importantly a year out!). As you can imagine, relief, absolute delight and pure emotion has outpoured! Both Lorna and I have so much to be thankful for in the support, relationship and encouragement you have played in her Grange life. We cant express enough our gratitude for the role you have played not just in history teaching but as someone who has been there for her at all times - simply above and beyond. I know Molly has valued your friendship and guidance and I have no doubt she will keep in contact with you. Best wishes to you and once again thank you. I have been a teacher for the past 23 years after working 16 years in the NHS. In my 30s i decided to go back to school and take my GCSEs which i had neglected first time round. I gained a place at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne after gaining 4 A Levels in the course of a year. Is gained a first class degree in History and followed this up by gaining a PGCE and began teaching in 2000. I have expertise at all levels and have worked with children with Special Educational Needs such as dyslexia, I am an avid Newcastle United fan which has not been easy in the past but is definitely getting better. I am passionate about History and have been lucky enough to indulge that passion. I am a keen reader and love cinema and TV. I have been married for 41 years and have two grown up children and two grandchildren.

I am available to take on regular students on Mondays 10am and 4pm and Tuesdays between the hours of 9am and 2pm. Currently not taking on French, ESL or adult students. Availability for trials only if students can continue during the following hours and days:- Monday and Tuesday between 8am and 4pm. I do not work Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. I am passionate about working with children and young people and have done this for over 17 years working in schools, social services and charities. I have worked with children and young people experiencing homelessness, in local authority care, and who are receiving weekly support from different organisations. I have also worked with families whose children are home educated and world schooled. I love nothing more than seeing children and young people's confidence increase as they learn new skills and information. I also have over 17 years experience working with children, young people and adults with learning difficulties/learning disabilities/disabilities/additional needs ranging from ADHD to ASD to global development delay and understand the need to adapt tutoring accordingly dependent on the individual's needs and making them feel as comfortable and at ease as much as possible. I am currently worldschooling my 12 year old son so I could be anywhere in the world as I'm tutoring as we travel. I tutor the following subjects and levels: English (from nursery to year 9) Welsh (from nursery to GCSE), History (from nursery to GCSE), Religious Studies (from nursery to GCSE), French (from nursery to GCSE) All of the above subjects were my favourite subjects in school. Mathematics (primary school age - in English and Welsh; Years 7-9 in English only) Geography (nursery to year 9) Science (primary school age - in English and Welsh, Years 7-9 in English only) The exam boards I can support with are Wjec, AQA and Igcse I am also happy to tutor students who are learning English and Welsh and want to improve their skills with a native speaker. I tutor 11+ and help prepare students for the 11+ exam. I tutor functional skills Level 1 and 2. I can also tutor through the medium of Welsh as I am a native Welsh speaker and completed all my education through the medium of Welsh. I can also tutor English as a second and/or foreign language to children and young people (ESL/EFL) when they are B2 or higher. Due to my professional and academic background in health and social care I am excited about providing tutoring at GCSE level and higher in Health and Social Care also. I enjoy exam preparation work and adapt how I tutor dependent on the needs of the student. A bit about me, I love travelling, spending time with my children and grandchild, learning about other cultures, Netflix binges, reading (I am a huge bookworm) and enjoy keeping fit. I love dance-I am an ex-dancemum as my daughter was a passionate dancer from a young age and I used to own a dance workshop business bringing choreographers from abroad to the UK. I am a very patient, kind and caring person and will try my best to make sure that any student is happy with how I work and if they aren't I will adapt my ways to suit them as they are the ones that need to benefit from it and if something I am doing doesn't work then I will try different ways until they are happy. I am a firm believer in letting children and young people lead the session even if I am working on specific topics but I keep them focused on the task at hand too. If there are available slots showing in evenings I start my lessons on the hour to maximise my available time for other students and would appreciate that if any bookings are made independently that they are booked following this time to be fair to as many students as possible. Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all soon! This is my full time role therefore you can be certain that I will not be providing supply tutors due to me being unavailable except for times of sickness and I do try and ensure that any supply tutor is the same one each time to provide consistency. Hello to you all. I have been teaching English and History to many different people at all levels for many years. I am hugely passionate about making sure the teaching and studying is fun. English is one of the most important subjects there is. I have a passion for helping people improve and get better at both reading and writing. History is one of the basics for so many subjects. It also helps students to develop great skills for the future. I am here to help in all aspects of English ( entry up to GCSE) and History (entry up to A level). Come along and discover how enjoyable it can be. I am an avid rugby fan. I played for many years. I have traveled all over the world. Visited every continent bar Antarctica. Reading is something I do every day: mostly history books! Cooking has now become a passion. I studied at a great school in Hayes in Kent. Came out with 8 "O" Levels and 3 "A" Levels. Then I went to Hampshire University and did a BA in Russian and European History 2.1. After university I had a few careers and then found the job I loved and did for many years. I lectured around the world on English and History. I taught many different courses and to many different age groups. I really love conveying my passion for English and History.

Hi there, My name is Dan and I have taught over 1000 sessions for Gostudent with great parental feedback. I am able to give students tasks that get them thinking and responding as if there were in class or an exam without getting them to realise that they are doing this. This means they are more engaged and students, who maybe are struggling, see that they can succeed. I am also able to engage with parents and students at the same, making it clear to Parents what has been achieved. I primarily work with GCSE and A-Level Students, but do also have experience with KS3. I have been studying my PhD at the University of Liverpool, and prior to that I did my MA and BA at University of Newcastle. I studied A-Levels at Richard Huish College in Somerset. I have always been trying to take on new tasks and new qualifications, which at the moment has taken the form of studying German, French, Latin and Ancient Greek.

One of the best decisions we’ve made as a family. Our boy was 3-4 years behind at school who have been completely inept. We had to look outside of state provision in order to give him a chance of literacy and numeracy. The last 8 weeks have seen the most progress he’s made in 4 years. We had a wonderful welcome from Kristian and a simply brilliant teacher in Claire. We then have our designated support manager Adam who is always on hand to discuss any issues. This is a really classy operation. Their people are all on message and highly competent. I feel so great about the improvements my lad is making and the decision I made to engage Go student. We now have the comfort and security of having a 3 year agreement and we feel our son will be light years ahead of where he is now. All power to GoStudent and thank you.
