Hi everyone! I am Rifah, a current first year medical student. I have already gained a bachelor's and a master's degree in the field of science, so it is safe to assume that I enjoy learning all things scientific! I also enjoy teaching science (and maths) which is why I have been tutoring both subjects for the past 6 years. I have experience tutoring one-to-one but also in a small class setting, where an actual classroom teaching is mimicked. However, during my one-to-one lessons I like to focus on my individual's student's needs and weakness, tailoring my help to what is the most beneficial for them. This is why I always ask for feedback from my students, and incorporate their ideas in my lesson to make it more engaging and fun. Nevertheless, I ensure that we cover all basis for what is needed to better their school performance. I am very familiar with all the exam boards offered by British schools (such as AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC), thus I am confident that I will be able to help everyone to the best of my ability. I have just finished my third year studying Mathematics at the University of Oxford. I offer tutoring in: GCSE: Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Level: Mathematics and Further Mathematics I can also offer tuition in similar/equivalent Mathematics courses taught in England (e.g. iGCSE/AS level) if required. Exam experience: I have been tutoring Edexcel A-Level Mathematics since October 2022. I sat Edexcel iGCSE Mathematics and AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics (GCSE equivalent) in June 2019 and CAIE Pre-U Mathematics and Further Mathematics (A-Level equivalent) in June 2021, achieving top grades in all these courses, so I have direct recent experience with the above exam boards. The courses I have taken are very similar to the more widely taken GCSE and A Level courses. Hallo! I'm a student at UCL pursuing a Bachelor degree in German, and an enthusiastic nanny based in London! I have experience tutoring children and adults, and I really enjoyed helping my students achieve their goals. Interesting facts! I successfully prepared one of my students for their admission at primary school in Austria. Also, my favourite thing about German is grammar, what's yours? I'm a volunteering addict, occasionally a pet sitter, and the founder of an organization which aims to drive social change in Romania. I'm in my first year at UCL studying German, I successfully passed the Goethe Zertifikat C1 exam in German in 2020, and I also won the first place at the National Modern German Olympiad in Romania. My experience also includes being part of a non-profit organisation from Romania as an English-German and Romanian-German translator for a magazine.
