I am a vibrant and keen teacher that has prior experience of working with a range of young people. I have a passion for reading and English literature, from the classics to recent literature. I am studying English and American literature at university and have a desire to pass on the wonder of literature to others. I have completed both GCSEs and A-Levels, including English literature, classical civilisation and philosophy and ethics. I have multiple previous jobs and work experience of working and teaching children in both a primary school and secondary school environment. I am currently studying English and American literature at Royal Holloway for a three year course.

By profession I am a Medical Education Senior Account Associate at a Global Medical Communications Agency, who enjoys teaching! Having tutored for 4 years, and delivering over 500 lessons I am extremely experienced. I currently specialise in Primary school maths, supporting children have a great initial start at school and to feel confident and proud to learn. I also provide KS3 Science lessons and have supported learners at GCSE level as well as A Level Biology/Geography and 11+. I have worked in youth services and informal education for over fifteen years, including a year spent running an emergency academic support and tutoring centre during the covid-19 pandemic. I love getting to know each student individually, understanding their interests and learning style to build lessons that help them meet their goals and grow a lifelong love of reading, writing, and learning.
