About me

Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a 5th year medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can ...

Introduction: Hi! My name is Tania. I study a Law LLM at the University of Warwick. I achieved A*A*AAA at A-Level in English Language & Literature, Law, Sociology and EPQ. I also achieved a 2:1 at my LLB in Law at Warwick too! Despite my results I wasn't always the best with exams. However, I persevered and used a couple tricks up my sleeve to not only memorise content but understand it. I have tutored many students across many age ranges and I can guarentee a high success rate after. Exam Boards: I have experience in both Edexcel & AQA English Lit & Lang GCSE exam boards. However, at A-Level English, I specialise in OCR. For Sociology, I have experience in AQA & for Law A-Level and LLB level. Languages: I can speak Bangla as I am Bengali/Indian. However, I can also understand, but not speak (unfortunately!) Hindi & Urdu. Age Group: My preferred age group to teach is - 12-18. Personal: I enjoy gaming, watching movies & having fun days out with my friends. I love shows like The Office and think as I am a student myself I can really create a good rapport with students. I achieved two 9's in English Literature and Language at GCSE level and several 8-7's in the rest of my subjects. Later on, I studied English Language & Literature, Law, Sociology and EPQ at A-Level and achieved A*A*AAA at Christ the King Emmanuel Sixth Form College. I went on to study a Law LLB at the University of Warwick where I achieved a 2:1! And now, I'm studying International Development Law and Human Rights LLM at the University of Warwick.

Nabeel T.

I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. During my A Level studies, I obtained 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. It would be a pleasure to pass on both my knowledge and work ethic to my students, enabling them to achieve their full potential. During my GCSE studies at a grammar school, I obtained Grade 9 in 8 subjects, including Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I also obtained Grade 8 in 3 subjects, including English Literature and Language. During my A Level studies, I achieved 3 A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Although I specialise in AQA for Sciences, and Edexcel for Maths, I am more than confident to teach other exam boards too. Now, I am proud to say I am studying Medicine as a second year at the University of Manchester.
