Abdoul-Razaq Yussuf M.

I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

I am a BSc Mathematics graduate from the University of Leeds. I offer a friendly approach to tutoring maths from GCSE to A-Level (I can also offer support to University students doing a maths/maths related subject). My goal is to help students become more confident in their mathematical abilities and learn to love the subject just as I do. Final year Mathematics undergrad student at the University of Dundee, fluent in German, Croatian and of course English. I love the outdoors, as I regularly go out hiking, running, cycling and whitewater kayaking. I still stick to the student lifestyle of having a healthy balance of work/study related things, social life and fitness thus making the most of my time when I have it!

I have a very creative method of teaching and like to include games and make it fun and stimulating. I have a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum and ADHD so can manage meltdowns and difficulties in learning. Teaching styles will be catered towards their way of learning (eg visual, oral, kinetic). I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-level. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I have about 10 years experience in tutoring. Since I was 15, I have been teaching primary level and then after that went to teach secondary level. I teach English, Irish and Scottish Curriculum.
