As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I offer comprehensive support in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology for all educational levels, including KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, AS, A-Level, and Higher Levels. I welcome students of all age groups, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I am Joseph, a PhD researcher in Quantum Bio-Inorganic Chemistry. I have a MSc in Chemical Engineering and a BE in Petroleum Engineering. I really enjoy and have a vast experience in tutoring students, and I am fully convinced that students encounter their subjects with me, as they have never before. I love music and sports, and most importantly, I really enjoy explaining how scientific phenomena are related to our everyday lives. I hope you enjoy my sessions, as much as I enjoy giving them!

I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. Alongside my own studying, I volunteer at an asylum-seeker charity 4 hours a week teaching adults basic skills such as digital literacy, English communication and life skills. I am also responsible for about 4 young learners who I have taught consistently over the last three-years. I am currently a University student studying a biosciences degree in Zoology! I am passionate about biology and animals/the environment in particular. After my degree I am looking to work in animal conservation specifically. Aside from my degree, I love sports (especially taekwondo/martial arts and netball) and I am interested in how understanding biology can improve performance.

In my free time I love to watch as well as play rugby and football. My passion for sport has grown due to my participation with the organisation Sports Leaders, in which I've gained valuable experience working with GCSE students. Maths is a strongpoint of mine and heavily focussed on in my degree; I achieved a grade 9 in my Maths GCSE in 2019, so I understand recent changes to the curriculum.
