I like all things science and technology. I've been teaching and tutoring students from primary up to GCSE level since 2013, giving me lots of experience with different teaching and learning approaches. Away from science I enjoy history, philosophy, gaming, and martial arts.

Languages: English (native), Bengali (intermediate) Preferred student age group: Any About me: Hi! My name is Safiyah and I'm currently an English language and Linguistics student at university. I have tutored English and French One of my proudest accomplishments was receiving all 7s, 8s and 9s (A's & A*'s) at GCSE. The subjects I took included Triple Science, English Literature and Language, Maths, Geography, History, Art, and French. I took A levels in Biology, Chemistry and French. From my time working at a tuition centre, I interacted with students from a range of abilities, helping Year 11 students revise for final exams as well as younger pupils prepare for SATs and entry into grammar schools. I picked up many new skills and techniques to help me deliver the best lessons to all different types of students. I also had the chance to teach ESOL students from a wide variety of different backgrounds, helping to boost their confidence in written and spoken skills.

Enthusiastic and passionate, I am currently studying for a masters in maritime archaeology at the University of Southampton. My main archaeological interests are concerned with dynamics of the nautical environment as well as the study of pathologies in relation to ergonomics. Alongside studies my hobbies include competitive, as well as wild, swimming, archery, bouldering and hiking. I also play the clarinet and piano. Currently completing my PGCE in Science (teacher training), I have a masters in maritime archaeology from the University of Southampton and an undergraduate degree in archaeology from the University of Glasgow. My main interests in teaching are the sciences (listed below), however I do also teach geography , history and English to A-Level. - KS3 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) -KS4 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) - KS5 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

I am a recent graduate having studied environmental science and wildlife conservation, with a passion for protecting and preserving nature for future generations. My science background has provided essential knowledge for tutoring biology. I enjoy teaching young people and supporting them to reach their full potential, whilst inspiring them to dream big. I am a patient person and understand that every student is different, therefore I will tailor sessions to individual needs.
