Hi! I’m Kai, a fairly easy-going guy from London and I have been tutoring for just over 5 years and love every minute of it! I am here to help you ace your exams and provide that 'lightbulb' moment! Whichever way you learn best I will tailor my lessons to you. I tend to use many different resources depending on what suits your learning style, for example I usually incorporate diagrams and flowcharts to visualise some of the tricker concepts. I know when I was a student, having a tutor was a huge benefit to me as I was able to understand concepts from a different point of view. Away from tutoring, I am also a huge fan of football (Real Madrid of course!) and Athletics, mostly 100m and 200m sprinting and I previously represented both my County and Athletics Club several times at regional level. Wherever possible, I love to include real-life examples especially in Science so the lessons can be engaging and you can achieve your potential. Hope to see you soon! University of Reading: Biomedical Sciences BSc GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics A-Level: Biology, Chemistry Exam board experience: AQA/OCR Experience with: KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level Preferred student age group: - GCSE for both Biology and Chemistry AQA

Subjects I teach: Biology (GCSE, A-level, National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher) Chemistry (GCSE, A-level, National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher) Maths (GCSE, National 5, Higher) Physics (GCSE, National 5) Science (GCSE, National 5) Medicine (UKAT, BMAT, interviews and applications) Russian and Japanese (depending on level and goal of pupil, but have experience teaching Japanese from basics, so if you want to have a go at studying a language, get in touch!) I am ideally looking for GCSE/National 5 level pupils at the moment. I am a 5th-year medical student at University College London (UCL). In 2022, I gained a first-class honours degree in Immunology, Infection and Cell Pathology at UCL. I was additionally awarded the David Katz Project Presentation Prize for my Neuroscience research project at the Francis Crick Institute. I have attended seven schools in four countries (Munich, Berkley, Los Angeles, Tokyo, St Andrews), which gave me a wealth of experience with different educational systems. Prior to starting university, I worked for two years as a laboratory intern in one of the world-leading virology laboratories at the University of St Andrews, focussing on novel vaccines and antiviral treatments. I am bilingual (English and Russian), and also fluent in Japanese. I am a qualified Japanese-English translator and have worked as an online translator for many years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and had been a first-team captain of both the UCL medical women's team and the London inter-university teams. My strong academic background in mathematics, science, and languages, combined with my passion for helping students learn and achieve their goals, has resulted in a proven track record of success in tutoring students of all levels. - First-class honours degree in Immunology, Infection and Cell Pathology at UCL - Advanced Higher: Maths (A), Biology (A), Chemistry (A), English (A) - Higher: Maths (A), Biology (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (A), English (A), Russian (A), Economics (A) - A-level: Japanese (A*) - Certified LTA Line Umpire - Commendation of full colours for United Hospitals Lawn Tennis Club Women’s Captainship (2022) - Nuffield Research Certificate - Gold CREST Science Award - Tie for International Recognition in Science - UCL MBBS Commendation for Presentation on “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” (2020) - UCL MBBS School of Immunology and Infection Best All Round Participation Prize (2022) - UCL MBBS School of Immunology and Infection David Katz Project Presentation Prize (2022) for Neuroscience project at the Francis Crick Institute

Hi, my name is Luke McNab. I'm from Wolverhampton but have recently finished a Mathematics degree from the University of Bath. When I've not got my head in books I like to do kickboxing, play some basketball and also play some field hockey now and then. However, that doesn't mean that I don't like to get on the PS4 and play some Fifa when I have some free time. Another hobby of mine is listening to music. My favourite artists right now are Big Sean, Dave and Jay-Z. I already have experience tutoring GCSE Maths but am looking forward to teaching Maths at Primary or GCSE levels.
