I'm Thibaud, originally from France but I grew up in London. I am a recent graduate of Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Bristol with a passion for both physics and mathematics which I hope I can pass to students while making the topics engaging and relevant to the real world. I have always had a great love for physics and science since I was very young when I was amazed by watching the stars in the night sky. I'm a Biomedical Science undergraduate at Imperial College London teaching biology and chemistry at GCSE and A Level. My approach focuses on prioritising areas that students find most difficult. I want to ensure students are equipped with strong foundations of subject content, and becoming more confident with applying their knowledge through exam-style questions to help ensure exam success. During my education I have become more confident in grasping difficult concepts and understanding how to apply them in exam contexts, which has helped me to gain 3 A*in my A Levels and reach my 3rd year of a Biomedical Science degree at Imperial College London. Hi my name is Stuart Smith. I have completed 19 years of successful teaching. I have gained experience of teaching years 7 to 11 Science and several years teaching A levels in Chemistry and Physics. Recently I was an examiner for Cambridge A level Chemistry. I have used my experience to develop a dynamic positive teaching style. Across the academic spectrum students find popular science in the media engaging and I make full use of this. Before coming into teaching I enjoyed many years working in the Shipbuilding Industry. This invaluable experience has enabled me to have knowledge of life outside the classroom and has enabled me to form a more rounded character.
