With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. With my background in maths, physics and chemistry, plus years of helping students in their studied, I've discovered that learning happens best when it's engaging and applied to the real world. I specialise in tutoring maths, chemistry (physical, inorganic and organic), and physics (focus on classical and quantum mechanics) up to A-level equivalent standards. People say I have a knack for explaining complex ideas simply, and I take pride in watching people's confidence grow alongside grades. I did my undergraduate degree at University College London, I achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Natural Sciencies, specialising in Physical Chemistry, Maths and Statistics. After a few months research in academia (Machine Learning Materials Science Research) and 2 years working in industry as a Data Scientist I have returned to education to undertake an MPhil in Scientific Computing at the University of Cambridge. I am hopeful to achieve a Distinction in this course and apply my skills and knowledge in the computational drug discovery/medical fields.

I’m a third-year dental student with a passion for teaching. I’ve been tutoring Biology at A-Level and GCSE for over two years, helping students understand complex topics with ease. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym and boxing, always striving for self-improvement—both physically and mentally which i am to provide to my students. I attended George Dixon Academy for secondary school, achieving an 8 in Biology and chemistry at GCSE. I then studied at Birmingham Tuition Centre, earning an A in A-Alevel Chemistry and an A* in A-Level Biology. Currently, I am in my third year of a Master’s in Dental Medicine at Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria.
