I have always been active and I really enjoy dance and other sports, I currently go to the gym a lot and do weightlifting. I also do art in my spare time as it is a fun escape from the hustle and bustle of the everyday! I enjoy going for walks in nature and listening to bird song, I am currently in a big city for uni so I do enjoy the little moments of peace the most. I’m currently a first year BSc Geography student at university, this subject has always been one of my interests, as I studied it at GSCE and A-Level also. My A-level subjects were: English Combined, Geography and Spanish. I really enjoyed English and miss studying it at uni, therefore, tutoring in this subject will be perfect for me, as I can stay up to date with the subject. As I studied Spanish at A-Level, I now also have an understanding of the language and culture, my goal is to be fluent in Spanish and travel the spanish speaking world!

I am confident in my abilities to teach subjects such as Maths and Physics to the age groups of primary up until GSCE level, having experience with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel. Languages: I can speak conversational Bengali and fluent English. I obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours at the undergraduate level, and look forward to studying a postgraduate course in MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering with Energy at the University of Birmingham. Things I like to do in my spare time include training regularly at the gym because I am a massive fan of fitness, and I have a guilty pleasure of watching anime shows (which are NOT cartoons :D ) and watching Formula 1. And a weird thing about me is that I go by another name (Nahid) which my friends and family call me, but you can be my friend also so you call me what you find easy to remember :) I received a Grade B in Chemistry, C in Maths and C in Physics at A-Level, which allowed me to be accepted onto a course I really enjoyed in Chemical Engineering BEng at Aston University. At GCSE, Maths and Science were my favourite subjects and I achieved Grade A's for both of these subjects and a Grade B in Further Maths.

I am passionate about animals, nature, movies and science fiction series. I love to try new things and explore new cultures, especially their food and language! I am dynamic, resilient and creative. I am currently finishing a Master's Degree in Teaching foreign languages. I also have three Master's degrees in language and literature (Comparative, Italian and French). I studied World Literature and Gender Studies. I speak four languages, and have taught all of them throughout my professional career.

I'm a passionate STEM teacher, with a focus on Computer Science and Maths. When it comes to tutoring I'm not interested in just showing you what the answer is but how we arrive at that answer and build a deeper understanding of the subject. Understanding your syllabus is one of the best ways to ensure you don't only learn your exam content but that it sticks until you need it. I achieved highly at GCSE and then went on to get A*AA at A-Level in Computer Science, Physics, and Maths respectively. I am now a Computer Science student at the University of Leeds. I've worked as a tutor for a few years now, both in and out of classrooms.
