With every session, I aim to keep topics relatable and enjoyable for my students and also to make them understand why this particular topic is relevant to them. As I believe, this understanding is half of the learning journey that they need to make. Currently, I am pursuing my aspiration of a career in medical research. I am studying Pharmacology at the University of Reading which has enforced the importance of always striving to learn; so I encourage my students to embrace learning. Studying the medical field has highlighted the importance of teaching and learning: in particular explaining concepts in a manner that will enable a deeper understanding. As an individual who enjoys a problem solving challenge, of which I have demonstrated during my many voluntary pursuits, including at a school and at a hospital, I have communicated with a wide range of individuals. So, in establishing a student's needs, I understand the issues they are facing and find solutions to their problems. Guiding a student through revision is no easy task as no student learns in the same format. Presenting the student with ideas and having them put these into practice is what I aim for to prepare them for exams. Education: Currently studying my second year of undergraduate Pharmacology at the University of Reading. Completed and taken part in an employment and development award alongside my degree. I am very intellectually driven and enjoy reading and writing about a variety of subjects . My current main interests are to do with psychology and education. I have a variety of experience in sports coaching and education, both in the UK and abroad and am constantly developing my skills and knowledge both as an educator and as a person overall A's in English, the Sciences, PE and Psyhology at GCSE level. At A Level, an A in PE, a B in Psyhology and a C in Biology and I have qualifications in safeguarding and first aid via the FA. I am constantly striving to further my knowledge in the core subjects, so as to develop myself as an educators and deliver the best results for my students

Primary: Maths 11+ entrance exams: Maths Secondary: Years 7-11 GCSE: Maths (Edexcel) Preferred student age group: Primary/11+/GCSEs I speak English and Tamil fluently and can also understand basic German after completing it for my GCSEs and achieving grade 7. I currently attend university, studying law and economics as a joint honours degree. As well as this, I am an avid athlete, playing netball, swimming and doing athletics as well. I have completed 10 GCSEs, achieving all 8/7s for all my subjects as well as completing my A-Levels, which consisted of Maths, Economics and Chemistry achieving two A's (Maths and Chemistry) as well as a B (Economics).

I am an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering MEng, I've tutored maths and physics for 2 years and have loved guiding and teaching my students to pass their GCSE's and A-levels As I am still in full time education and having completed my own GCSE's and A-Levels I can understand how stressful and difficult it is learning subjects in classrooms without one to one help. That's why I try cater to students needs, breaking down the subject matter into simpler explanations and then work through exam questions to show how its used in practice. I know the value of getting to understand a student and their needs, from how they learn best to how to keep them engaged in lessons. Past Experience: I have tutored both math's and physics before to GCSE and A-level standards for two years and am particularly confidant in these subjects. I can teach biology and chemistry at a GCSE standard as well. I am available all days of the week, I am familiar with most exam boards, If booking a trial lesson having a specific subject(s) or question(s) you need help with will be most apricated. My hobbies include traveling abroad, skiing, rugby, D&D, reading and cooking.
