Hi, my name is Daniel but you can call me Dan! I currently live and work in Dublin. I received my BA in Maths and Economics from UCD in 2021. I studied a broad range of topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics and Probability, Financial Maths, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. I can tutor Junior Cert and Leaving Cert Mathematics.

I was born in Norwich, England and completed my schooling in South Africa. I have a passion for teaching and I believe that we are capable of learning so much more when we are enjoying ourselves. I have a clear and easily understood accent and I cannot wait to meet you in the classroom where pronunciation, good grades and fun are the name of the game. I enjoy helping children overcome difficulties with speech and interpretation of the English language. I am qualified to teach English children(TEFL) and adults (CELTA). I have completed more than 7,000 practical lessons or 2,500 hours of teaching students online. I have 5 years worth of informal face-to-face teaching in a SundaySchool classroom. I have 20 years worth of experience training adults in the telecommunications sector. I successfully completed my first year of teachers training in 1979 and had to stop due to ill health.

I am currently a second year university student studying Neuroscience at The University of Manchester. The subjects I tutor are A-Level and GCSE Biology. During Sixth form, I studied Biology, Physics and Maths. In my free time I enjoy reading, bouldering, going to the cinema and eating delicious food! I am currently studying for an MSci in Neuroscience at The University of Manchester. For both my GCSE and A-Levels, I attended Hitchin Boys School. Hi, I’m Rob, currently studying towards an integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. Throughout school and university, Maths has always been my strongest performing subject and the area of study I am most passionate about. During my GCSEs, I attained mostly grades of 9s and 8s with a 9 in Maths and an A* in GCSE Further Maths. Following this success, I achieved 4A*s at A-Level including Maths and Further Maths (91%).
