I have 10 years of experience teaching mathematics at Junior High School, and my goal is to make math not only understandable but also enjoyable for every student. In our classroom, we will explore a variety of mathematical concepts and I will support you in developing both your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. I believe that everyone can succeed in math with the right tools, persistence, and a positive mindset. My name is Miriam, and I'd like to share a bit about my educational background. I have always had a deep interest in Mathematics, which led me to pursue a formal education in the field. I completed Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teachers in Philippine Normal University, where I developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied mathematics. During my time at college, I particularly enjoyed courses in Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, which sparked my desire to share the beauty and logic of math with others. In addition to my degree, I also completed 30 units of my Masters Degree major in Mathematics, that helped me develop the skills necessary to teach effectively. I believe in continuous learning, so I regularly attend professional development courses to stay updated on the latest teaching methods and trends in education.

Starting from a state school, I made my way up to a grammar school for sixth form and I am currently studying Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London. My hobbies include photography, dance, fitness, art and modelling. Hi there, I'm a medical student at the University of York. I enjoy playing sports, especially football and am a Man Utd fan. I love reading and teaching and teach from primary school level, through secondary school and all the way up to A-level for certain subjects. Hi there, In my GCSEs, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8. I then studied four A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, achieving 2A*s and 2As. In between, I also sat BMAT and UCAT medical entrance exams in which I achieved a score of 3000.

I am currently studying Responsible Data Science at the University of Birmingham. I also achieved a Class I in my Law LLB. I studied my A- levels at Woodhouse College. I am interested in rugby and travelling. I am currently not teaching History. I completed my Law LLB with a class I in 2023.
