I have also worked for a number of large firms as an accountant or an analyst, so have experienced business theory working in practice. I am also a CELTA qualified EFL teacher, and have spent a great deal of my life working or living abroad in countries including Saudi Arabia, France, Turkey, the United States and Japan. For personal pursuits, I enjoy travelling, playing the piano, visiting the gym, watching Clemson University's college football team and PC gaming. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Clemson University (South Carolina, USA). My undergraduate degree is a BA (Hons) in English, awarded by Loughborough University in 2003. After leaving university, I achieved my CELTA certification, and worked in Japan teaching English. Later, I had a career change and started to work for a global investment bank, and have worked as a financial analyst, economic analyst and management accountant. I have CTLLS and DTLLS teaching qualifications, which I earned while teaching BTEC subjects at college.

The reason that I chose to study Mathematics is that I strongly believe that the idea of starting with a collection of simple postulates, combined with chains of logical reasoning, and the ability to derive nearly any complex mathematical theorem allows Mathematics to pose as the essence of our everyday lives. My ability to problem-solve will be directly beneficial in communicating difficult concepts and constructing logical arguments for different approaches for problems that students may find challenging. As I have recently completed A-Levels, I am very familiar with the A-Level Mathematics exams, along with the specific topics and skills required to succeed in them. Having experienced difficulties with teachers and hardships with studying techniques personally during my A-Levels, I am dedicated to tailor lessons to a teaching-style that is enjoyable and efficient to create the best learning experience for each student. Hi there! My name is Mishal, I am a student at the University of Leeds studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering. Other than academics, I have a passion for playing the piano, swimming, exercising and socialising! Having achieved a, upper second-class degree in Architectural Engineering, an A in A-levels, and a 9 in GCSE Maths, I have a great level of understanding of what is required to excel in studying mathematics. I hope my passion for the subject reflects upon my students and my two main goals for them are success and enjoyment!
