Hi, I’m Aisha. I have a strong passion for science, particularly chemistry and biology. I am highly intrigued by the fields of pharmacology, cancer research and genetics; I aspire to be a part of one of these fields after completing my degree in Natural Sciences. I thoroughly enjoy teaching others and helping students achieve the best results by working smarter, not harder. I have recently tutored GCSE maths, physics and biology. I like to make sure I have a structured plan for each of my lessons so that no time is wasted, however I also encourage my students to ask as many questions as they like, because this is the key to learning! I completed my GCSEs at Norbury High school for Girls. I achieved seven grade 9s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History a...

I am a former research scientist and now a professional tutor, and I offer tuition in biology, physics and chemistry GCSE and chemistry A level. I employ a steady pace with the student and frequently return to previously covered material to reinforce understanding. Wherever possibly to attempt to link the material covered to something relatable to the student. I strongly believe that every topic, if properly approached, can be a source of fascination. In my spare time I write science fiction novels, and am currently working on my first fantasy novel.

I am a highly experienced and passionate mathematics tutor with over 20 years of experience. My ultimate goal is to improve student academic performance and make learning real, relevant and rigorous. I ensure that I focus on goal setting and creating benchmarks to ensure students are set up for academic progress. My general approach includes: • Adapting my approach/method to suit the student’s learning style • Incorporating connections to the student’s interests • Teaching to the student’s strengths and minimise the student’s weaknesses • Motivating and inspiring the student to learn • Using numerous past papers to prepare students for the exam and improve their exam technique • Setting homework I have a passion for mathematics and as a result chose to study 4 related A-levels; Maths, Pure Maths, Further Maths and Applied Maths. I also obtained an A-level in Physics. I continued my education at university completing an Undergraduate BSc Honours and Postgraduate degrees in Civil Engineering. I am very enthusiastic about teaching mathematics, and I have taught a variety of students across many ages and abilities for over 20 years. I find tutoring very rewarding as it enables me to inspire students to improve and achieve their goals.
