Hello! I am an English Literature with Creative Writing university student and I am passionate about Literature, History and other creative subjects. I am also passionate about guiding students academically. My favourite literature genre includes classical works and compiled essays!

Lower Level: Maths Experience with: KS1, KS2 Languages: Bengali (fluent), Spanish (basic) Preferred student age group: Primary level (KS1, KS2) Currently, I am a Psychology student. I would like to pursue a career in education where I can support primary school pupils. I really enjoy working with young pupils and I want to support them as much as possible & help them develop important skills. Most importantly, I want pupils to have fun learning, & I will make the activities & resources engaging and enjoyable! I previously volunteered as an Academic Support Tutor where I assisted primary school pupils with their homework & revision. We helped improve their Maths and English skills which was very rewarding! In my free time I absolutely love baking & playing fun games! I also enjoy learning new languages.

Kia ora hey! My name is Haylie and I am a middle distance runner, master's student, actress and student support worker. I am studying an MSc in International Development part-time here at the University of Edinburgh while training and competing, as well as picking up casual hours teaching and supporting students. Moving to Edinburgh has been great fun, but I grew up in LA as a Kiwi-American. I lived in Aotearoa New Zealand for most of my adult life, where I also completed my bachelor's in Education with minors in Politics and TESOL. I absolutely love all things travel and adventure related, and I'm always keen for a chat about world politics, language, culture, running, football, travel, acting, and learning something new!

I can teach English and Maths at a primary school level. I can also teach English and History at a GCSE Level. Furthering this I have experience with OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel. My first language is English and I can speak this fluently. I can understand both Urdu and Punjabi and speak Punjabi at a basic level. I prefer students at a Primary English and Primary school level. I have got an LLB Law degree and currently doing a Masters in Law. I did Alevels in English Language, Law and Sociology and achieved grades BAA. I enjoy reading a range of fiction and none fiction books. I also enjoy playing sports and I am a part of the local netball and football team
