I prefer teaching Primary School English, but can teach any. Exam Board Experience: AQA, OCR, Edexel Languages: English and British Sign Language (fluent). Spanish (moderate). About Me: I am a second year English Literature student at Royal Holloway University of London. I am confident, extroverted, sociable and patient. I have had a lot of experience with teaching. I tutored Primary School students on English and Maths as part of a babysitting job during my A Levels. I taught reading fluency and expression in Year 5 and 6 to younger years, as well as in Year 10 and 11 as part of my school's extracurricular activity program. I have taught around three classes of 30 A Level students British Sign Language to a conversational standard. I enjoy teaching, especially younger years, and working with others to develop confidence and skills in education. I got A*s in my English GCSEs and an A in English at A Level.

Studying computer science at university gave me the chance to explore the latest technology and various programming languages. Technology is a very rapidly moving industry and makes me very excited about the future as computers now play a massive role in all aspects of our lives. Throughout my life I always wanted a job that allowed me to make a difference and have a impact on the world. I think, that teaching computers science, is one of the best ways how to help children and young people to venture into todays computer driven world. It also fulfil my dream of making positive impact by motivating and inspiring our next generations of bright minds. Also, I wouldn't say that learning Russian is easy but I do know for sure that it is very rewarding. Russian is still very widely spoken language in Eastern Europe and it could help you if you travel across many European countries. Therefore, I would like to help students to learn Russian and to prove that learning new languages can be a fun challenge. Key Stage 3: English GCSE: English Literature & English Language A-Level: English Literature & English Language Specific exam board experience: CCEA, AQA, & EdExcel Preferred age groups: KS3 & GCSE My number one priority for any student that I tutor is that they feel both comfortable and confident, and that they understand that it is a completely safe enviornment where they can ask any question without hesitation or fear of judgment. From bringing my study of English up to being a recent QUB English & Linguistics graduate, I also brought my love for studying English to life by getting involved in many extra-cirricular activities such as being a member of the QUB English society, participating in the Bar Mock Trial and also BBC News School Report; as well as being the English prefect through A-Level.

I’m a uni student at the university of Nottingham who loves to help others by using my own education experiences to do so. I consider myself outgoing and I love to meet and talk to new people in all contexts. I like to think that I am a confident and hard working person who is able to convey ideas across and explain things clearly. These skills and attributes, I feel make me a great fit for being a personal tutor. My hobbies include sports such as football, skiing and motorsports amongst many others, as well as travel and generally anything car related. I am currently at the university of Nottingham studying geography with business. For my A-levels I studied geography, government and politics and music. I found these subjects very helpful in gaining a broad knowledge in various disciplines. Both geography and politics are subjects which allowed me to develop points effectively and convey a compelling argument, as well as widening my scope of knowledge. I think my academical past will aid me greatly in helping others with their studies.
