Hi, I'm Naomii, a friendly student currently undertaking a BSc in Cancer Biomedicine at UCL, who is passionate about making learning engaging to share the fascination of how life operates with others. I have experience in mentoring and understand the importance of a supporting and fun learning environment. I teach GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, with experience of the AQA exam board. I look forward to aiding you in achieving academic success! I achieved all 7-9s in my GCSEs, and all A’s in my A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths). I also completed an EPQ on the topic of targeted gene therapies in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, for which I was awarded an A*. As my degree is centred around biomedicine, my scientific knowledge is always being furthered in both biological and chemical aspects.

I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults.

I am currently studying a BSc in Computer Science and I love it! We have to use various different subject knowledge to program software, using programming languages. At University, as a hobby, I love playing table tennis and going for long walks (countryside areas) with my friends. This helps clear my mind and refreshes my mind. I know taking exams could be difficult and nerve-racking, but don't worry. I have also gone through the same experience. Therefore, I understand what you are going through. I will help you overcome any challenges you have with problems regarding exam-style questions and teach you some techniques that have helped me during exams. I have experience tutoring students since I have been a maths tutor for students in lower years at school and I have been teaching GCSE students for the past 2 years.
