I am patient but firm and I believe that everyone has the ability to be excellent as I myself went from being a 3 C's student to a 3 A's student at a-level. My teaching style is to adapt to each individual’s learning styles. I also do a lot of past papers as I want you to be able to use your knowledge to be able to tackle any questions. I am a 3rd year medical student. I got 3As at Alevel and 5A*s at GCSE. I have been tutoring for 2 years now for ages from year 3 to year 11. Each child I have tutored in secondary school has gone up at least one grade and majority of my primary school students have gotten into grammar/private schools.

MATHS (Primary, GCSE, SQA National 5 & SQA Higher) I have extensive experience in tutoring Mathematics to students of all ages, from primary school education to SQA Higher/AS Level, and can adjust my tutoring approach according to each child's strengths and weaknesses in Mathematics with high efficiency. 11+ EXAMINATIONS (Private schools, CEM & GL) I have amassed over 3 years of experience in tutoring students for their 11+ examinations, and have successfully enabled all of my students to gain admission into their competitive schools of choice. ENGLISH (Primary, SQA National 5, SQA Higher) I have extensive experience in tutoring students of all ages in English, from phonics at primary school level to essay writing at GCSE/SQA Higher level. SCIENCES (Primary, SQA National 5, SQA Higher) My background in programming and in Mathematics have enabled me to develop a unique perspective all of the subject matter that I teach. Through this, I have become a very versatile tutor, and also specialise in tutoring sciences like Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science for students of all ages. ABOUT ME I am a passionate, ambitious student who is studying for an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the University of St Andrews. I have been tutoring children for 5 years, and always operate based on the belief that each of my students has the potential to succeed, given the right guidance and support. QUALIFICATIONS I achieved 8 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA National 5 level in the subjects of Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Spanish and Drama in 2021. I then achieved 5 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA Higher level in the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics, Human Biology, Chemistry and English in 2022. Finally, I achieved 3 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA Advanced Higher level in 2023, in the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics and Biology. I am currently on track for a first class degree in BSc (Honours) Computer Science at the University of St Andrews.

Subjects taught: GCSE: Maths A-Level (IB): Maths Exam Board Experience: AQA at both GCSE and A-Level, although i think the content covered in A-Level maths is now the same across all UK exam boards. Preferred student age group: A-Level, however GCSE students are still welcome. Hi! I'm Saugat and I finished my A-Levels in June of 2023. I enjoy playing basketball, volunteering and watching MMA. My goal is to provide subject-specific strategies to make challenging topics as as intuitive as possible for students, giving them the knowledge to tackle a whole range of problems. Whilst at Sixth Form, I studied A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving 4 A* grades.
