Hello! My name is Charlotte, but you can call me Charli! I am 30 years old, from England. I studied Graphic Design at University and also have a TEFL qualification, alongside 6 years of teaching experience. I love playing the drums, drawing cool things and obsessing over cats! They're just so cute! Most of all, I love teaching English. I love getting to know my students, seeing their great progress and most importantly, having fun in class. I can't wait to see you soon! I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University. I have a 150 Hour TEFL Certification. I have 6 years teaching experience, both in classrooms and online. I love to teach Primary English, Primary Maths, and ESL. I have had experience in all these areas, and thoroughly enjoy teaching a range of topics. Hi there! I’m Lorraine Llagas 👩‍🏫 A Passionate Educator. I’ve spent several years in the teaching profession, with most of my career dedicated to teaching Philosophy at the tertiary level. For the past 8 years, I’ve been sharing my love for Social Science with senior high school students. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about lifelong learning and personal growth. I enjoy seeking new knowledge and skills, diving into various genres of books, striving for self-improvement, staying active and healthy, and exploring new places and cultures. 🎓 My Educational Journey Graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Pursued graduate studies in Philosophy at Ateneo de Manila University. I am currently and undergraduate student studying Computer Science with a focus in high-performance graphics and game engineering. I am in my final year and will be graduating in the summer of 2024 with an MEng degree in the above area. I have a large passion for computer science and programming, but I also enjoy maths and physics as that's what I studied at A-Level Have completed sufficient work to receive a Bachelor's Degree, but I am on an integrated masters course so have not officially graduated as of yet Experience with AQA and Edexcel exam boards at GCSE and A-Level as a student. Hi! I am a music student studying at the University of Manchester. However, I achieved an A* in A level Maths and have experience in maths tutoring. I take a communicative approach when tutoring; asking the students to explain their thinking so I can better understand any gaps in their knowledge. Despite my lessons costing you anywhere from £21.99-£30.50 for the 50 minutes, I recieve £13 either way with GoStudent taking 41%-57%. I have experience with tutoring for GCSE AQA exam boards and A Level OCR exam boards. Furthermore, whenever I meet a new student I will be sure to ask which exam board they are learning and research the spec and some practise papers in preparation for our lessons.
