I'm Joe and I'm an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham. Along side studying for my degree, I enjoy learning languages, such as Catalan, in the hopes of travelling the world in the future. Hi! I'm Alfa. GCSE: Chemistry, Biology, Maths A-Level: Preferred student age group: upto GCSEs I enjoy watching medical documentaries, playing board games, meeting new people, travelling, trying different food, baking (sometimes), and I can speak 3 languages: English, Hindi and Konkani. Teaching is also what I enjoy. In the past, I had set up a revision group with a few of my friends, and helped them get their first A grade in the final GCSE exam! My lessons are very interactive, and I am open to any ideas to make them even better. To succeed, I believe a strong foundation is the key, which is why I work on the basics first with my students, before moving to the harder concepts. Homeworks and revisiting topics will help retain the information. Lastly, I will prepare them for topics that haven't yet been covered in class, so that they are ahead of their peers.

Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day.

Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree.
